I tried this app, and went through the settings but can't figure out something. Can you make it so it doesn't tell me to choose an action everytime? For example, when I press 3G I just want it to turn off or on, not give me the list of actions to choose from. Know how to fix this?

I think it's the app.. that's the way it is.. maybe it will change on the next update. I get that too when I turn off Wi-Fi it gives me actions to choose from. I guess we have to suggest it to the app developer for a fix.

I love the new update, so silky smoooooth. Gonna run wifi through its paces next but so far no issues. Will report back. Keep up the good work!!!

Go to preferences and then app processing and change it from the first option to the last one

Thanks jet. I'll wait patiently, 1.5a is running just fine. Loved the other updates in 1.5b. Hawg and I both still had the keyboard switch issue but no big deal because Swype beta works great for me.

To fix the problem for because I like to use a downloaded keyboard with skins I paid for in the store. I had to uninstall the ICS keyboard and then I could use mine.

3 problems I have so far.

1. Rebooting my phone so the wifi can stay and not automatically turn itself off. I have to do this every time I want to use my wifi which is annoying to be honest.

2. Titanium back up crashes as soon as the phone boots.

3. Phone rebooted itself during phone calls. This has to be the most frustrating thing I've experienced with this rom. I don't know why it started happening.

I gotta say, after flashing to 1.5b I've had zero problems. Thanks for this from jet. I like it. Looking forward to future updates.

I feel your frustration although I haven't had that problem. The wifi issues sound like what I was having before jetx2x released the update this week. Now I have not trouble but I have to go to the second level of the new menu in settings to get wifi control to work and a widget controls it okay too. I've also had problems before the update with Titanium Backup. A couple of weeks ago I stopped trying to do a batch restore between rom flashes because of the unknown differences that creep into the rom.

I have a couple of questions before I might be able to help. Did you get the most recent update called "zupdate.zip"? What version of WCS were you running when you flashed "zupdate.zip"? Did you clear the cache in CWM and the Dalvik cache from the advanced menu in CWM? Maybe we can figure out how to get this wonderful ROM working correctly for you. :)

This rom wasn't ready for release. I still can't use GPS and wifi as I wish without rebooting or some incredibly inconvenient process. I'm dumping until it's ready. Going back to noob II

I'm surprised that you are still having so many problems after this week's update. My WiFi and 3G networks are switching without problems and I keep my GPS on and use it only one in a while but haven't had trouble yet. I know about the wifi problems from before, but what happens to GPS? If I'm going to have trouble it'll be nice to know ahead of time and I don't remember seeing anything about it on this thread recently but my memory isn't as good as it was when I was young.... :) :) :) Thanks for your help understanding the problem. :) :) :)

OK... so alot of you seem to still have problems.... Im gonna need a few testers... I think I know why some are still having problems...

This Rom works great! been using this since v1.1 I mean if you follow all the instructions and read the thread to see if anyone has had the same problem you can almost always fix the issue. I have yet to have a problem where this is not true with this Rom. Most if not all answers to the problems you guys have are on the forum all you have to do is read. Jet has done a great job and this Rom and works hard to figure out the issues please be patient. Please Look over thread to see if the problem has been solved .

Yes.

What version of WCS were you running when you flashed "zupdate.zip"?

It had to be the most recent one that was uploaded before the update.

Did you clear the cache in CWM and the Dalvik cache from the advanced menu in CWM?

No, I didn't know of this until now. I just applied the update, if this was mentioned I didn't see it. Is it too late for me to do this? and what will it fix? I don't want to screw nothing up.

Maybe we can figure out how to get this wonderful ROM working correctly for you. :)

I hope so, I really like this rom.

If you don't clear the cache and delvic when switching Roms it can leave traces of the previous Rom causing you to have problems. Just a good habit to get into.

Yes.

It's quite possible that not clearing the cache and the Dalvik cache would affect your phone in unpredictable ways. The caches store information important to the system to know how to run it's apps quickly and efficiently. If it contains information meant for a different rom or version of this rom then it could try to use that for this rom and that spells trouble.

So, here's what I suggest you do. Of course, have a good backup in TB and in CWM. I don't know if what I will suggest overwrites your data, but it may so just be safe. I would download and flash WCS version 1.5 from the OP to make sure I have the most recent copy. Before restarting the phone, clear the cache from the first CWM menu and go to the advance menu to clear the Dalvik cache. While there, run Fix Permissions. Then restart the phone normally. Once in normal operation I'd restart into recovery and flash the zupdate.zip file. I'd clear the cache and Dalvik then fix permissions and restart phone normally. I believe you'll have as good an installation as I know how to advise. Please let me know how it goes and ask questions if I didn't explain something well enough.

Grab a cup or coffee or a beer. Take a deep breath and go for it. Good luck.
:) :) :)

OK guys... here is the wifi fix... again...

I myself can confirm that it works so there shouldn't be any problems... flash it then clear cache and dalvik and reboot

Does this do anything other than affect wifi? If my wifi/3g is working okay, do I need to flash this is the reason I'm asking? Thanks.
