Jetx2x, would you get mad if I try out Windows Phone 7 ROM? I'm curious to try it out. Question for anyone who can answer, when going from rom to rom do I have to do anything special?

I'm sure jetx2x won't mind you trying another rom. I suggest you clear data and the dalvik cache then flash stockb08c.zip. Start normally and then immediately shut down and restart in cwm recovery to clear data and Dalvik cache again. Then flash the Win7 rom. I always clear the cache and the Dalvik cache again just for the heck of it.
I usually run Fix Permissions and start the phone in the new rom. I hope this helps.PS: The reason for flashing the stock image is to make sure the phone is in a state that the new rom will "recognize". It has all the stock settings from which changes where made to develop the new ROM.

Hey Jet I just found out that the GPS on my phone is way off. I like to use Google Sky Map at night when planets or really bright stars are out. but the other night I used it and when looking up at the moon it was not on the screen. it was way down and to the left so I know the GPS settings are all messed up. And this app use to work just fine before. Is there a fix for the GPS at all?

I just tried it... mine is spot on... try thishttp://db.tt/ApnUY7Ve... if it still doesn't work.... maybe you had a bad flash...? Try wiping cache and dalvik... then if its still messed up just flash B08c and then reflash my rom along with the updates
Edit: and I believe that may have been an accelerometer miscalibration problem now that I think of it... GPS is only used to find your location... after that Google sky relies on your accelerometer to tell which direction you're pointing

On another note, how much effort would it be to make your Rom without any audio tweaks so that Volume+ would work?

Ill have V1.6 ready for beta testing tomorrow.... alot of theme changes... it will also be beats less and will instead have the xloud audio engine... ill post a change log a lil later...

Have you been following the Wi-Fi issue in Shins thread? A build.prop change has made a world of difference in Wi-Fi/3G switching. Might be something to look into if anyone has those issues running WCS still.

I'm fixing up the settings menu but somethings wrong... as soon as I fix the fcs I'm getting it'll be ready for testing... btw I have decided that in order to prevent all kinds of eff ups and giving myself a headache.... this version will erase all data....
