Root boot looping please help!

Sounds like the problem isn't your SD card at least. Maybe some kind of weird issue with your PC. Try restarting the computer maybe? Not sure what to do.

Wait maybe HTC sync would help. Try installing it. Sounds like maybe you don't have a driver installed that will recognize your phone as a USB device.

what size card are you using? do you have a card reader?

I just took it into Sprint, they new it was rooted and he flashed the stock Rom back on for me and its all good now!

NICE! thanx for the update. you lucked out with the tech. most will not do that.

However I don't feel rooting was your issue I believe it was fear and panic. Always Always best to do these things in a calm state. And yes you got very lucky with the tech. I would have just tried replacing the card myself.

Sounds like you flashed a new ROM without wiping properly, or your download of the ROM you wanted was corrupted somehow.

Yeah i believe I didnt flash it properly.. but yes i brought it and told them about tye boot looping and immedietly the women helping me asked if it was rooted (I lied and said my friend did it) . And the tech told me he would love to try to flash the stock Rom back up for me, and bam 15 minutes later he got me going again! He told me not to root it again.. yeah right

Have you checked the hboot after he flashed it Just wondering if he up you to the newest ota and hboot 2.18.0001.

Good call, that would suck. Its more complicated with the new H-boot

I don't believe so, odd thing is my phone is still rooted, so I just flashed my su. Back on and its all back to normal.

If all they did is flash the stock ROM that wouldnt have touched your root status.

Did they keep your custom recovery too? I imagine they'd just use an RUU, in which case you'd probably have to reinstall amon RA

I have clockwork, but yeah they just flashed that, and quick question I'm running miui.us and I'm thinking about flashing a kernal, could you point me in the right direction to where I should start?
