Root Bricked evo?

I'm happy to report that sprint came thru, and.... EARLY!!

They said 3-5 business days, and that was 2 days ago...lol Usually when they say 3-5 days, I expect a week....
Replacement was FREE, and is now rooted and running the kings alliance rom, and prolly the freedom kernel before long...:D
One thing I can say... already I'm noticing better batt life with this rom compared to the same rom on the old phone, couldnt have been my batt causing that, cuz I'm using the same one, so who knows, maybe the old phone just had enough of life!
Anywho.... Thanks for all the tips and comments guys, I'll try not to be such a dumbass with this one!
Cool cool. Let us know how everything goes. This is the best place to learn about our phones, so no need to worry about that.

By the way, this is the first brick that I've heard of in a long time.

So,... there musta been something wrong with the old phone.... I'm getting super battery life with the exact setup I had before ( kings alliance-the breed, and less freedom kernel) I actually watched a full season of trailer park boys(about 5-6 hrs) on my evo while the power was out yesterday (fake ass hurricane...lol) and still had some juice leftover to send a couple txt's and a few rounds of words with friends....

That's huge for me, as previously, on the old evo, I could only watch about 4-5 episodes(1-2 hrs) before the batt was dead.... didnt matter what rom I was running.... That phone had been buggy for a while too, strange things like data network errors, random reboots, certain features not working.. and that all happened while stock, as well as all the other roms I tried... some were better than others, but none were as good as stock.

I havent run the stock rom on this new phone for more than an hour, so I have no idea how batt life would b with stock... nor do I care...lol I aint goin back to sprints garbage no more.....

O ya... btw... Its the same battery from my old evo, they just sent me a new phone, no battery, sd card, or charger....

AND...lol, I just noticed that usb connectivity is much better.... Used to take a while to transfer music/movies, etc... wouyld transfer at or less than 1mbps, now transfering my nand backups at 10+ mbps...... YAY lol
