AFAIK:

1. Yes

2. Search for sxida's kitchen, you'll find some good info there. I think it only works with htc phones, but it's a good start. [KITCHEN] Android Kitchen, v0.201 [Linux / Mac / Windows] - xda-developers

You could always use an adb shell to push files to the phone. Its been done with a few phones.

Thanx fur the help. Im not Gina start on this phone. Ima use my old admire. But good looks. Ima start working asap. Id like to give back more to the Android community than feedback.

except that fancy script isnt gunna work here this time :P

Lol. Nope. I lucked up. He's gonna have to build his own :D :p. Theme some stuff up, edit the build prop, push it with the shell. And its a start for your phone. Its pretty much similar to the one click root shells, difference is, it pushes files instead of edits to the binary :p Just my 2 cents.

I'm nit exactly sure what all that means... Yet. But I'm a quick learner. So i plan to find out as much as i can. Good looks to everyone not just dismissing my requests. I pretty much got the whole rooting and flashing and theming thing down. On to higher plains.

my point is when i made it for the prevail originally then modified it for the admire there was an exploit. when you adapted it for the attain its cuz you used our kernel which had adb unsecured so it ran adbd as root. this time around there is no such easy exploit etc, nor any special kernels.

Ok so I have a Windows machine. so I'm led to believe that I cannot build around until I get 1.which is fine maybe I should start with modding first so is anyone know where I can go to find out how to mod I want to work on my Samsung Admire first

Here's a link to the UOT kitchen. UOT Kitchen. Kitchen

I don't know if it will work with the Admire, but it will give you an idea.

You could always use Virtualbox and run Linux within Windows.
