Help Calendar: "Synchronization is having problems"

I have a user who got a synchronization error on his calendar. The error is simply "Synchronization is having problems". As a result it doesn't update calendar events but it still syncs email and contacts without any issue. The only way I've found to fix this is to delete the email profile and recreate it. The problem is that the exact same problems comes back about once a month. So calendar events will stop syncing and he won't notice becaues the error only appears when you go to the screen where you can manually start the sync. We've even gone as far as to hard reset the phone but the error still comes up repeatedly. We have no other users experiencing this issue even with our other 2 users that have the same phone. Any ideas?

which calendar are you using? stock?

The phone is not rooted and yes, I'm using the built-in calendar app.

are you on wifi, 3g, or 4g when this happens?

It happens on 3G or 4G, never tried it on Wi-Fi.

ok is the phone up to date as far as ota's(over the air updates)? with ota's you get updated radios.

also try updating your prl and profile from your phone's settings.

cool beans. also it might help if you let us know what software version the phone is at. go to settings/about and if you can please provide the info here from the screen.
