Camera 360 - Better Picture Quality?

i think it just takes time to save them... give it a few minutes before it shows up...

edit: and it doesn't save them automatically unless you selected the option to... you have to click the little Checkbox after taking the picture to save it...

yeah i'm doing everything right. problem is, this camera is such a memory hog that when you use it for like more than 2 minutes (on mine, anyway), the second you back out of it, sense needs to reload because it closed it since 360 was using so mcuh damn memory....and once sense closes, NONE of the pictures you took save since apparently it only saves like whatever pics it feels like saving once you BACK OUT of the program. what a stupid way to code it; make it save them ONCE YOU TAKE THEM like the stock app does. i need to get in touch wtih this guy to let him know of such a major problem

yea that was a problem with this app and Sense (thought it was fixed)....
I wouldn't know though since I'm using Launcher PRO... I don't have that issue...

Make sure you go on the dev's website and voice your suggestions! Hopefully they take them into account.

man, i really wish it saved every single picture i take. that's why i regret spending money on it..i know this topic is riddled iwth me saying this lol but i dont understand how people can love it so much when it doesn't even save your pictures!!!! ahhhhh

In the app go to menu > settings and make sure both 'auto save' and 'auto saving in normal modes' is check. I suspect that will solve your problem.

Going to abandon the guide until I can get screen captures. Also going to be upgrading to the Captivate so I'll be playing around with that for a week or two before diving into any new projects.

What resolutions does this support for you guys?

Seems all the photos are at 1600*1200, is there no way to change this or is compatibility just limited with my Galaxy S?

im using the old free version with all the paid features (i have to manually go to running services to shut it down tho... one of the bugs that was fixed in what is now the paid version)

i refuse to update since the dev removed nearly every feature from the free version without telling users (sneaky bastard)...

I purchased the program. Didn't use the "free" version long enough to get a feel for it. I know the purchased version is really nice.

i bought the pro version. So far I like it, it is loaded with all kinds of things and settings but it is still buggy. Sometimes when I keep the camera on so that I will have it to use, but then the screen dims and I key to turn back on the eris and pull down the lock screen, the camera will still be up but it is blank, just a black screen. I have to back out of the app and start it again. And I still get force closes and sometimes it still won't close properly when you back out of it, and then eats up your battery. I have to reboot to get it to stop and close properly. I am hoping that the dev will continue to update it to get rid of these problems.

when the screen is black try long pressing on the screen and see if that works... i think its supposed to be like an energy saving feature...

I have the same problems, I also have the paid app.

In settings, try turn off "power saving mode"

I have the same problem when I lock the phone with the app running. When I unlock the phone, the screen is all black. The long tap then put it _into_ power save mode. Another long tap brought it out and the screen was fine.

Seems like a glitch to me.

But the tap suggestion _really_ helps.

8am this morning with Heavy HDR effect on HTC Desire

does anyone else get white dots all over their pictures sometimes???

when I take a picture in Normal mode it looks good at first but then C360 does something to it (i see a little green ring spin for a second on the screen) and then it changes to this crappy picture with white dots all over...

Are you using the newest version? I had the newest free version and the dots went away. Don't worry if you see the dots, they don't show up when you look on the computer or in Photos. I caved and bought the full version today. I couldn't stand the "beep beep" noise when I took a picture, even in vibrate mode and unchecked "Shutter sound".

Sounds like you are using one of the special photo settings that alter the photo (B&W, Sepia, etc). You should be on the "Normal" setting.
i have it on normal settings... i think ttran is right about needing to use the newest version though... im using the older free version that contains all the features of the paid...

i found if i zoomed in a little though that the dots go away... just need to decide whether i want to keep this old free one (which i have to manually force close because it doesn't close itself upon exit) and have to worry about some bugs or go paid version... 4 bucks seems like a lot (and im pretty broke atm)... and i don't like the current free one because of some unnecessary restrictions the dev has put on it...

DjLuke, those are nice and a very noticeable difference. I have the paid version but haven't messed around with the HDR effect settings yet, looks like I will need to. I have recently been having fun with the tilt shift settings, pretty cool stuff.

Heavy HDR just makes such a difference on outdoor photos. its unbelievable. cant wait to use it more especially at the football this season

I haven't compared it vs the stock camera of the Captivate yet. To be honest, I'm pretty damn happy with the stock software. But it's nice to have options!
