Root Camera recording problem

ever since i flashed velocity my video recording has changed for the worse. Whenever i record something its very choppy. Ex. I was recording my brother flipping and when i watched it, choppy as hell like when your playing a video game and you lag
has anyone else had this problem?

Why do we even have "stagefright" if we all just have to turn it off? What is it supposed to do? ...........Just wonderin'?

Ive had 4 allys and never had to turn it off. I dont think most do, it has to do with video playback and i think with streaming. But i dont know much else.
