You only changed the lines for the carrier name when you modified the framework?

I flashed the zip you provided. I didn't modify anything, only followed your instructions.

If so you can make a backup of what you have right now, then do a factory reset to pull the framework-res. Then you can restore the backup you just made and modify that stock framework to do what you want.

Let me clarify then. I was trying to tell you how to get the stock framework-res.apk (by factory resetting and pulling it from your phone). You could also flash the stock ROM .zip that is around here somewhere (check the all things root sticky ).

Then you can make the changes in that yourself.

I also said if you don't care to do it yourself, to wait and I (or someone else) may get around to it again before too long.

There is another post that shows how to do this much easier. It was written by mantera. I didn't finish any I was working on because that way is so much easier.
