personally I like to use my phone without a case it has a better feel. I tried it with a case and it just makes my phone bigger than it need to be.

:D

I have an Outterbox Commuter case, Zagg screen protector and belt holster for my Atrix4G. My phone won't win any cool looking contest and its very slippery. I wanted a case that had port covers for the micro HDMI, USB and head phone ports. I actually like the feel of the case then the phone its self. I have drop and kicked my phone on concrete a few times with no damage. Even though a belt holster isn't fashionable now, compared to either holding or pocketing it, I prefer the convenience and safety factor of a belt holster.

After adding a case to my Droid 4, its weight practically doubled--got one of those otter-box like heavy duty cases, but it's by a company called Trident..looks nice and all, but now my phone's a literal brick. ha.

Trident, Otterbox, Ballistic all have bulky cases. However, they do protect your phone. My old EVO is still running strong because it had a Ballistic case for almost 2 yrs.

I usually go for a slim case. Not really a fan of the bulk that most cases add to the phone overall, but a slim case should be enough to provide scratch and minor drop protection. Hopefully that doesn't happen though!

I prettie much keep it cased all the time, apart from when I want to clean it, and randomly see how it looks without the case on :P

Think of it like this

Would you want a un protected slippery device that you could easily damage...

Or

Enough said :p

I let it fly naked and free, none of my phones have been cased and only had to replace one that got murdered in a mosh pit.

i heard otterbox changed the rubber on the defender series. Does anyone know how you can tell if you have a new one. on my old one the rubber kept pulling away from plastic frame around the screen letting alot of dust in.

If we merged all the threads on this subject it would probably reach from here to the moon!;)

Personally I can't live without a case, my phone gets abused and beaten like a red-headed step-child when I'm on job sites so if I didn't have one I wouldn't have a phone anymore.

I had a sleeve for my GS3 and I loved it, just being a mechanic, it was suitable for work...for my GS4 I have an Incase sliding case, I ordered my Spigen Hybrid case...just waiting for it to be released and shipped

I really like the way my phone looks without the case but it was way too slim and slippery nekkid.

I have had it in an otterbox defender and it made it easier for me to handle, plus, I have dropped it on cement and in puddles... thing would have been destroyed without that case. :o

Well, semi naked, I have wrapsol on the back of my s3. No screen protector as I put the phone in a soft glasses pouch which cleans my screen whilst in my pocket walking around.

A protective dual layer case is a must with me since I have a propensity to dropkick, hook and launch, and drop phones off my lap when I get out of the car. Also, I spend most of the day on concrete and pavement and I don't buy cell phone insurance (it's a serious waste of money) So with my new phone I'm rockin' a Trident aegis, which ironically makes my new phone almost the same thickness as my last phone was WITHOUT a case. It also makes it easier for me to handle the phone and makes it feel better in my hand due to the size. Lastly I use a screen protector. I work with metal, and always end up with small metal chips in my pockets, I have also caught myself swiping the screen while having a small metal chip on my thumb, I also put the phone in the right pocket on my jeans, where a clip on knife is clipped to my change pocket, with my old phone I didn't have a screen protector, and the screen always hit the clip in the same spot, there were small scratches...and it was gorilla glass.
