Cases

I'm waiting for Seidio and/or Nillkin to release a version of the case. I don't (my significant other doesn't) want a particularly thick case.

So far, the best case I have seen is the plain black silicone case. It looks good on this particular phone.

The camo and orange one looks pretty cool.

It would be very suitable to me, to find a case that totally covers the Verizon logo at the bottom.
That is my biggest turn off of this device. That big ugly branding...
Unbranded the M would look so much awesome!!!:D

Until something good comes out, I'm rocking the shell/holster combo. I would like to try one of those Seidio cases. I like the naked look but I'm way too clumsy to not have it protected.

Hi,
I just got the Razr M, and am looking for a hard shell/holster. I bought a gel case to temporarily protect it, but would prefer a hard shell/holster set-up. I cant seem to find one. Anyone have any ideas as to where to get one?

How did the Otterbox Commuter case fit for you? On the Otterbox site, I saw one review on that case for the Razr M. That review showed a picture of how the silicon piece had a section that bulges out on the top right corner. It also had a picture of no flap for the micro-USB port.

I have been telling myself and telling myself I was going to get a Galaxy S3, but today I read about that phone not working well on many Verizon towers, the "No SIM card" error.

The only "good" case that I can find right now is the Otterbox case. It'd be nice to have more options. For now, I might go ahead and order a cheap silicon case from ebay. That makes me think, does the extremely thin side border/bezel cause a problem with the fitment of ANY case?

It does fit perfectly without adding a lot of thickness. And, no it does not have the usb cover like the picture shows on Otterbox. No big deal for me because I love the case.

I have the shell/holster combo from vzw, i like it, slim and had a kickstand. I don't need anything else

I p/u one of these (for $7): For Motorola Droid Razr M-Matte Black Hard Phone Case Cover+CLE Protector Shield | eBay

I like the soft-touch plastic and it's got a low profile, kind of a nice middle ground between a silicone skin and thick protective case. Only downside was that the interior of it is white so it kind of shows the seams when snapped together.

but one quick trip around the inside w/ a black sharpie fixed that. Happy for $7.

if i may reccomend that the perfect thin case is a plain tpu case, they protect very well and are rather attractive in my opinion. just google around and see what you think. i know a company cruzer lite who said their m cases will be coming out next week time! look at their site. i love their android life series!

I saw this Droid RAZR M Shell Style Kickstand Case with Holster Belt Clip MOTXT907HOC - YouTube shell case/holder on ebay after I purchased this Verizon Motorola Droid Razr M XT907 Soft Silicone Rubber Skin Case Jet Black | eBay
I do prefer the hoster, so I might still get the shell case/holster.

I have the Verizon shell and holster, and the Otterbox Defender since I can my phone on my hip. Right now I'm sticking with the Verizon one.

Has anyone found a fully-enclosed case similar to the older Otterbox Defenders? I don't like the ones Otterbox made for the Razr M--don't understand why they just use the film for the front instead of the stiffer, integrated plastic like they had on the iPhones.

they do that because the thick plastic isnt needed and the thin one is just as protective as well as much much easier to use

I have one of the silicone ones, but I don't like to use it... one of the things I liked about this phone in the first place was that it was so thin. Also, I like the kevlar back. I like the look of it so much better without the case, so I'm just gonna rawdog it.

Decided to go with the Body Glove DropSuit for mine:

Found it for a good price on Amazon, should arrive next week. :)

My sister showed me the Lifeproof cases for iPhone. She wants one. They actually take it underwater in the ocean and shoot video for an hour or two. And it's smaller than an Otterbox. Pretty cool. They only make it for iPhone and company, though.

I got the Razr M for my dad to replace his Casio Gzone. He's a contractor. I got him the Otterbox Defender for it. Is that about the most durable/ water protective one that there is for this phone right now?
