Root [CDMA] Bypassing welcome screen after flashing

DragonSlayer95

Resident Air Bender
Just as the title states. Is there a way to bypass the welcome setup screen on most ics/jb roms? Center part of my screen is dead so I can't exactly get past setup

Can't you just push next or skip on all the steps in the bottom right corner? How can you do anything without the middle of your screen?! Maybe I'm not understanding what's wrong with your screen.

The last few roms I've tried to flash there is no skip option only "next" which is where the dead spot in my screen is

Hmm. Could you get a screen repair from Sprint? I don't know if there is any way to bypass it if it written into the rom. The only probably silly idea I can think of is if it's possible to change the orientation of the screen during that so you would be tapping in a different spot but I don't think you can.

The thing about that, the normal sprint repair said they couldn't, advised me to call up the nearest corporate, that's a no go as they don't have digitizer/screen to repair. I considered going through asurion to get a replacement, but they will only offer og evo or design 4g since they don't carry 3vo's anymore. Uh no thanks. So ill just patiently wait for a good deal on Craigs list it seems :)
