Root [CDMA] Get ready for OTA's!

I am on lollipop 5.1, it is CodyF86's cm12.1, working very smooth on xt1031- Boost CDMA. Using it from last two days. Better battery backup compare to soak test.

Im not normally lazy, but I just had surgery on my spine and my attention and focus is skewed from drugs and pain. Could you be so kind and post me a link to the above mentioned rom via public or private message.

So I have been beating my head against the wall for nothing
Lol...yeah pretty much I have the fastest home WiFi in my area and my connection speed varys incredibly I mean from 64kbs a second to 12mbs ... Its very inconsistent at best. But that being said as Android versions have progressed I find myself more and more satisfied with stock and a custom kernel...the amount of customization available is considerably less than what it used to be (because a lot of things are inclusive these days) and for a lot of the custom ROMs out there they seem to be code bloated and never out of Beta. I dont think we got a final MS release for CM11 before CM12/12.1 started rolling out... I mean if PA reemerges and they do a 5.1.X I'll be on board with that...otherwise I think I'll stick to the stock ROM/custom kernel. [emoji4]

I just got done installing all the apps I use onto that 5.1.1 that you told me about. Damn, is this ROM fast!

Now my only question is this. Will xposed for 5.0.2 work on it.

Yeah Cody's ROM is the exception to the rule for me. Its clean and its built with Linaro and as you said it's very fast. Not sure about Closed but if the app dev supports lollipop it should be good.

Sorry, damn spelling correct. I meant will xposed for 5.0.2 work with it.
If you are talking about soak test 5.0.2 then yes Xposed worked with recovery installation. Normal installation not available.
Also not all KK xposed module won't work, many of them I have tested.
gravity box was my favorite and xgnl

GravityBox has a Lollipop version that works nicely on stock 5.0.2.

From what I have read, there is not an Xposed framework for 5.1.x so far. I hope it comes soon since we should be getting 5.1.x in the near future.

^^^
Yes , gravitybox which was my favorite worked very well with L.
I had tested on 5.0.2 soak
I love gravity box. But from I read a little bit ago Google had to do some major revamping to ART so xposed framework needs to be modified to work with it.

I'm not sure I heard there's an alpha for 5.1.X...I've never been much of an xposed user. (on custom Roms, I do like it for stock Roms though.)
if I install the codyf86 ROM can I go back to 4.4 if I encounter problems? or does it replace the boot loader cause as always I make nandroid backups :)
