Root [CDMA] Im sooo ready to donate for a full root!!!

I'm so tired of waiting for a full root (s-off) I know the devs do it on their own time, but I want it now bad enough to pay for it! Maybe HTC can do it for us if we pay a fee? Nay jk but that would be pretty smart on their part... Don't you think? Ahhhhhh!:D
 
Ummm - you do know that HTC has already announced the roll-out dates for S-OFF worldwide, right?

And that we're getting ours in late August, maybe a little into September depending on roll-out success details for the Sensation because they came first?

If you hadn't heard that before, cool - send me all your money and I'll see to it HTC is coming out with S-OFF very soon. :D :D ;) ;)
 
in all seriousness, if you wanted to donate, and assuming the HTC rollout did not exist, the time to do so would be now. Nothing motivates devs more than a donation before a solution is found. If everyone holds off till after the root exploit, the devs are truly working for nothing; given how hard it's been to find an exploit for this phone, what happens if the devs all decide to give up? Everyone loses.

If I received a donation before I find a solution, that donation means 10x more to me because it means someone truly appreciates my work enough that they're willing to risk their money before a solution is guaranteed.

Not telling you how to part with your hard-earned money, but just something to consider :)
 
I just check these forums. Eventually S-OFF will happen, and there will be a flood of posts to follow. I'm just watching for the flood.
 
Has anyone even started to work on a rom for this thing? If I was a dev... I would build one with live 3d content all over the place!!! Imagen how heavy that would be though...
 
I had rooted my EVO 4G using Unrevoked and was pretty much loyal to cyanogen after a few one night stands for ROMs. My question is, WHO exactly is working on root? I ask because I WILL donate to them. Is there specific teams? I've heard TeamWin thrown around (not sure who they are). Is AlphaRev a team? Forgive my ignorance, a lot of names are being thrown around that I never heard while trolling message boards for my EVO 4G, just got my 3D a couple weeks ago.

I'd love to get a list of the main teams working it, I also won't be offended if your response is "read some more of the other threads to find your answer". haha.
 
Alpharev and unrevoked are merging and it could be smoke and mirrors but they have posted pics of e3d with s off and a video of the sensation with s off si they would be the front runners. I have donated to team win and Alpharev for all their work
