Root [CDMA/SHOOTER][ROM] Unofficial CM10 for Shooter Alpha

I under clock my CPU anyways, so whatever kernel works for me. I defiantly cant find a reason to change a stable kernel anyways. Mac kernel has sweep to wake, important for some, but not to me.

Overclocking Its the one thing they all have in common ... I'm really not sure if lowering the CPU really saves any battery for me, I know it uses less RAM which in turn should lower the voltage that the battery uses.
 
Yeah on Mac now still have random browser issues, will do more testing

Wifi still a no go

Reinstalled everything works, unfortunately ics browser+ crashes on boot that is expected though any chance at an alternative?

Facebook instacloses not even an error
 
Yeah I went back to mobsters because of this I can't do without the ability to troll my friends on facebook
 
First. Read the op. It says no compatible kernel but the one installed.

Second. There are better options to both the stock browser and Facebook app.

That bug with closing apps without error is because a genius thinks he can commit 20 things to cm source and not have it double checked. It is way too much work for someone like me to go through all that code. So till that person goes back and fixes his shitstorm he created then that bug will exist. And this is for EVERY HTC device. Maybe others too.

I know I reread it thus the reinstall. You said anthrax specifically I figured that out on my own.

Dolphin, firefox, chrome, and opera all have their own bugs, and most(minus dolphin) have a distinct lack of flash.
As for alternative Facebook apps... That... I know nothing of.


As for the third submitting without having a friend review your code is ****ing ******ed. Some people make me wonder, that sucks though :-\

Friendcaster, Facebook lite, faster Facebook, or tweetdeck. Those are the ones I know off the top of my head. I use friendcaster personally. Once you find a alternative you like you will prolly never go back to the slow Facebook app

Right before I read this I downloaded friend caster it does not work crashes with no error at the save device screen seems like the internal browser is the issue and even replacing that applications still use the default browser correct?

Basically makes it unusable any app that requires browser access is inaccessible at this stage. Sorry for the bad news to be frank that does Not sound like a fun thing to fix.

That's weird. It works for me. I'm going to fresh flash and try it again
 
I liked friendcaster except for the fact that it wouldn't let me upload pictures to my wall photos or mobile uploads albums...and the fact that I like to see "Facebook" in my contacts' info rather than "FriendCaster"
 
Heh just tried firc to talk to you on free node worked for about 5 minutes before it crashed, and back to mobsters now, it's close to daily driver I could care less about mms but with the app incompatibility I would be better off running symbian
 
Either way I'm getting moved out of military housing for a week so they can get all the mold and stuff out of my house. So I will be on hiatus during that time anyways
 
I felt it was unfair to the people that donated for this device to pack up shop. So, I have reposted the OP and I won't really respond over here much. I will mainly be over at vmroms.

All audio should work as its suppose it. besides the occasional bug where you have to adjust volume to hear anything
