Root [CDMA] Unable to flash ROM?

Let me start off by saying that I have flashed many of ROM's with no problem till today. All i get is bootloops and I don't know why.
I am rooted 1.5 hboot S-OFF. Here is what I have done to try to resolve the problem. I have updated to the latest and greatest 4EXT, updated the binary on Superuser SU, changed firmware to latest 2.89 radio 1.09 and still no luck???? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

PS. The only thing I can do is restore back to Viper

What rom is giving you bootloops? Is it a stock ICS rom?

Not likely, but is there a chance you flashed all the 2.89 firmware (including hboot) rather than just the radio?

Good thing you just reminded me I am still on Baseware 1.06 need to update to 1.09

Yes knowing what Rom you r trying to flash would help us

I tried pacman, slim, wild for the night all boot loop. They all did this BEFORE I upgraded firmware, I only flashed freeza firmware thinking that might have been the problem. I can't even restore to pacman or slim now. Totally baffled??? I verified i am still 1.5.

This is really weird... You're on the right hboot and s-off. I have to think about this one. Sorry I don't have an answer yet.... I'm a little baffled on this one at the moment.

Umm if your updated this should not be happening, we must be missing something here.

So if I understand correctly anything with JB you get bootloops and ICS Roms you have no issues ??

I just tried flashing a different ICS rom and still no luck. The only thing I can do is restore back to Viper with no problems. I do notice that when I try to flash a rom it only loads for less than 2 minutes then says install complete. The other thing I notice is that when I go into recovery it says no or wrong image for an img file. Not sure if this is the problem but still baffled.

I seriously don't know what the problem is. I'm guessing somehow, something isn't matching with your firmware but it's hard to say what.

Maybe you should RUU.
I'd use the 2.17.651.5 gb. Ruu.

You are s-off so you can easily flash 4ext recovery via PG86IMG.zip through the bootloader. I can offer a download for that on my Dropbox.

I'm guessing that when you were changing firmware something got messed up somewhere.
If you want, you could try flashing the 2.17.651.5 firmware package from this post first before spending time downloading the ruu:
From the 2.17.651.5 OTA: 2.17_Base_...nfo.txt md5: 3DE70462185FAFED88BCF7DF810B4B45

Also sounds to me that your recovery is either not flashed properly or corrupted, and would try installing your recovery again.

It's not my recovery I tripled checked that. I was able to flash XLPLUS ICS Rom so I think it's just JB Rom's for some strange reasons. I went back to 1.06 radio in the bootloader successfully and then flashed an ICS Rom successfully. STUMPED!!!!
I am going to try a new JB now and see if that works. Wish me luck.
EDIT...No luck flashing anything JB?????
