sense uses a wide screen format where cm7 and a few other roms do not
I have not found a way to change it other than using lg camera from the market..which has more options..but your preview pane will still be the narrow format
Well when I'm using the camera app on CM7, I see in the settings options for the photo size, and there appears to be widescreen AND standard aspect ratio options. Here they are:
