Root Changing System Fonts: Easiest Way I Could Find

I have a question. I love having these fancy fonts for the menus and everything, but I'm wondering if there is a way to have the standard font in the browser? It gets to be a bit much trying to read webpages at times. Thanks!

As far as I know most apps use system fonts for their displays, probably makes them easier to code. If you find a way let us know!

I highly recommend using a font that is easy to read for all applications of your phone. The one I chose i think looks nice, but it is also very legible, and I think a bit easier to read than the DroidSans default.

I found a few promising links over in the XDA forums. Most link back to other sites, for people who just make icon packs (i was looking for text icons). If I run across any I'll let you know. Most of the ones i have found require that you use something like bettercut to actually implement them.

And of course their is always ADW, and hope someone has a theme pack you really dig.

Yeah if you see some good ones let me know and thanks. I am running ADW and apply the icons with it. It would just help to have some good icons to use. I am using the Fluxed theme right now. It's okay but still a little too iPhonish for my taste. If I wanted it to look like an iPhone I would just get an "iPhone." That will never happen. lol
 
You can also just repackage the flashable zips so they work with out filestructure and font names.

If anyone wants to go through and find some good fonts I am willing to make flashpacks out of them. I started but I dont want to port all 239

EDIT: I really should read! Yeah thats the best way. You can even go a step further and sign them. KC, we should get together, I want to add a font changing function to the master script, I just need to come up with about 5-9 good solid fonts

Sounds like fun. I found about 3 that look nice so far. I uploaded acouple on mandroid if you want to look at them. They under misc in the ally folder. Having them in the scripts would be really cool!
