Help Charging for the first time...

So I just got my replacement new EVO and it has been on the charger about 2 hours. It shows the green light, so do I really need to charge it for 12 hours before using? Does it even make a difference? I mean, it has horrid battery life anyway...

yeah i would go ahead and take it off charge. you should be good to go. that is what i did with my refurb that i received a few months ago.

green means go lol... how eaver in cm7 my light turns green when im at 95% or so. so i usually give it a lil longer

On AOSP roms, the green light comes on at 90%. On the stock sense rom or a rooted sense rom, the green light is at 100%
