don't flash just read and discus .I have been looking at optimus g f 180. it's international and had unlocked bootloader and uses LTE 2 recovery.

I believe we looked at this already and when i checked the scripts it was the unlocked nexus bootloader they flash. They then bypass the morningcall error bc their wallpaper file is not located where ours is (the sbin).

You are correct

it is possible but would require a custom kernel, which is not possible with a locked bootloader.

adanmex good looking out, but this unfortunately wont be a viable solution.

nah we know init.rc calls the wallpaper file which causes the morning call. Init.rc is part of the boot.img and thus far cannot be modified. However i heard kexec works and have been wanting to play with it. Since your sparking my interest in this again ill have a go at kexec this week while my girl is working in the evening.

That explains what files are used to check if we deleted something. If any of those files are deleted = brick

To use kexec, yes. To move wallpaper? Don't know.

kexec isnt possible, it requires the device to boot a modified kernel in the first place.
