I'm about to start this process. HTCDEV website says one you unlock bootloader, your phone will lose all apps and settings. Basically, a factory reset.
Is there a wayaround this? It took me forever to get it the way it is now.

i need help i have everything downloaded updated etc and i still cant unlockbootloader. cmd is telling me error and no such command or file any

Did you make sure to use the CD command to send CMD to the correct directory where adb.exe, AdbWinApi.dll, and fastboot.exe are located? If the files aren't present in the directory CMD is running in, then it won't know what the commands you are entering are for.

For example you copied the above mentioned files to C:\Android.

Run CMD and then use this command: (no quotes) "cd C:\Android"

It will then change to that directory and the commands that the instructions on that HTC dev site should then work.

Log out. Refresh. Login.
It logs your ip... Got to wait for your ip to clear
