Have u googled "motorola triumph image dump fix for phone
wont boot" or "triumph fix for phone wont boot"

Go to libraty or friends house and replace with the info u
Can save on a flash drive. If u have absolutely no
Cpu access u can try to use a demo at best buy or maybe a bookstore.

Or ask ur friend to download the files for u but dont ask him
to di the process for u

If u r schoolage maybe explain to a nice teacher u can
also try a college campus lab. If all else fails u can
Hold on to phone till u get a cpu

Thank you both for responding.

I know that i shouldnt be messing with things i dont understand.. witch i dont understand the andorid op. i didnt even know i had a back up till i found info on the net about what i did, by then it was too late.

Mobile Partition - Fix For Phone Wont Boot - SDX-Developers Forum .
I cant "boot" into anything.. it dont boot at all no matter what keys i press.
It will power on, "incoming download mode" is what it goes into.. it will sit there for about 2 min till the battrey dies and recharges. then repeats. It dont stay on long enuff to even charge. Sawping out the the image file while connected to a computer for thoese 2 min does not work for me.

i have the cm7,cwm,gapps and a full stock image. I rooted with gingerbreak, and ill be getting a laptop this weekend. I would back out of all this rooting the MT and stay on stock if i can just get it working again, but if not .. its a $300 leason that will never be forgotton
After reading up on the cwm by Isacc i was hoping he would help but i cant PM him on AF

thank you both

Im sure its frustrating. I guess im very hardheaded and optimistic.
My first smartphone was the intercept and it was a lot different
then the motorola triumph. I once spent like 10 hours unbricking
it but iy worked well for me. You might actually have the first
trully bricked triumph. I doubt it though. And two minutes seems like more
than enough time. You may be giving up on a 300 phone very prematurely.
It takes me less time to replace my splash image. There very little
reason to not explore. The triumph is very mod friendly.

Im not good at this stuff either. I have a custom boot animation i made.
i just enjoy reading what you guys and gals on here right. If
you enjoy reading what devs and hobbiest write it will seem like second nature even if
All you are doing is following instructions.

I think once you havr your own cpu and i.e. can take your time no pressure
it will be different. With the intercept i used to have my notes
beside me. With the triumph all i usyally need is to have
the files saved directly on my desktop which is
The first screen u see when your computer is on.

Doing it this way im able to have copied files ready to paste.
You might have the first brick but i highly doubt it. :)

I "think" the only way to perma brick is to mess up its radio and i "think"
the devs can fix that no so much the average layperson. And what you
did had nothing to do with the radio at all i dont think. I know
with the intercept sometimes i had do an action more than once for it to work.

If i were youd id make sure i eas fully charged "or tried to fully charge it". Sence
your phone us sending u crazy messages due to soft brick id do a battery pull and plug it into a wall whethet i saw an indicatir light or not. Id also repeat and use
different outlets just in case.

If im telling you something wrong im sure a helpful forum member
will jump in to correct me or i hope so. But i would start there first.

Ok I select the backup and recovery, and press the power button, and it takes me to the next screen, but all that shows up is the symbol (tophat thing) I let it sit there for 10 min and it did nothing, got back to the main screen and selected power off... and did the same thing.
Am I missing something?

What button are you pressing to select? Should be menu button and, I guess you are hitting the power button.

Volume for up and down power to select is how it was explained in the video

and now that you said menu button, it works thank you

There are written guides that are kept current, some video guides have older versions with different controls. The videos are nice for some folks, but are not always accurate. (Not bashing the videos, but I have heard of a few inaccuracies like this lately, so double check with what is written in the text guides here.)
