Root CM10 progress Update Thread

ClockWorkMod / RECOVERY Files:
-CWM-based touch recovery
-TWRP Based recovery


This one? when i click the link for -CWM-based touch recovery it takes me to another thread. Then i go down a little in the first post and see this...

This download has cwm6030 with support for backing up sd-ext if you have it
mod removed non working link

recognizes internal and external sdcard
no mount usb mass storage

No. The thread we're writing in at this very moment. Go to the very first post. It was made by totlth. Scroll down and you'll see 6031 recovery and 6031 touch based recovery. Pick the touch based recovery.
 
OK. I suck. I followed the steps

2. Boot into Recovery.

3. Clear Dalvik Cache(in advanced).

4. Clear Cache.

5. select "install zip from sdcard".

6. Select "zip from sdcard".

7. Locate the Rom you wish to install onto your Avid and Select it.

8. Let the Recovery Do its Thing and Reboot your device

Your Done! enjoy your new Rom!

Shouldn't I have done wipe data/factory reset too?
Or do I have a bad file? I DL'd it over Wifi direct to the phone and moved it to the external SD card root...
 
Thats not working. Same error. Can I safely power down and remover the SD card and try a new copy of the tester DL'd from my pc?
 
Somehow i got a bad DL. File size is only 128k.... Way off! Now i just have to find out how to copy a good file to my micro sd.... Can't find my adapter. &*^%@!!!!!!

has anyone tried gps on the new build yet? i still cant get it to lock a position. can someone download the app "gps test" by chartcross from the play store and open it and see if it works. it should show how many satellites are available and how many you are using. please post back on here whether it works or not so i can see if it is just my phone not working.
 
GPS does not seem to work for Ingress App. GPS is way off... Roams hundreds of feet... Even in GMaps it can wander up to a half mile.... It works with Wifi for location but not GPS alone.

MMS stuck on "sending"

System Settings --> Storage "Unfortunately Settings has stopped"

Thats all I could find. Loving it still :D

4G Works. WiFi Works.
 
Dude I can't wait to play with 10.1 lol the better this one is the better 10.1 will be (exploding sdcard issue)
