The GPS works awesome with Wi-Fi on. And it shows the current tower I'm using also when I'm on 4G.

Have you tried one of the GPS test apps to see how many satellites you are using? If not can you?

Not sure but my sons stock, unrooted jellybean phone does the same thing.

The red border has to do with the phone being in strict mode in developer options. I had my son check his phone and strict mode was enabled. He disabled it and the red border went away. When I checked my phone the developer optio was not even turned on. I turned it on and disabled strict mode but the red border did not go away. This leads me to believe that it is a bug in the ROM. It could actually just be a bad upload. Maybe when they post the next build this will go away.

Just put that app in system/app and change permission to rw r r

So far I noticed, proximity sensor still doesn't work (Phone stays lit up when using phone), soft keys don't light up, MMS does't work but am looking to test out what dadcup just put up. Video (Netflix) doesn't work just get audio.

Haven't tested out GPS.

Tried the MMS apk. Seems to work, sent a picture and was recieved by other phone. Good Work!
Also got my bluetooth stereo headset to connect, didn't ask for a pairing code when it should have but no audio goes through. Icon on Status bar lit recognized in Gplay music, even lets me adjust bluetooth equalizer settings. Still no sound.

No GPS satellites, just shows me the location of a network I'm using. Anything else for me to try?
