Root CM12.1 UNOFFICIAL RC5

PLEASE DONT TRY TO COPY THE PERSIST PARTITION FROM ANOTHER PHONE BECAUSE IT ALSO HOLDS THE BT AND WIFI MAC ADDRESS, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE A BACKUP OF THIS PARTITION BEFORE WE TRY TO FIX IT

I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A GOOD WAY TO FIX THIS

ok can someone who has flashed cm12.1 and went back to stock rom, and has messed up laggy rotation sensors, try flashing this with twrp, and let me know if it fixes the issues, it fixed mine

So your CM12 build flashed firmware as well?
my cm12.1 flashes the contents of the /system partition and the kernel (boot partition) this is pretty standard

it does not flash boot loaders or baseband (modem) or any other partition that may or may not contain firmware

when ZTE puts out an update, basically all partitions are updated

after flashing the sensor fix open dialer and dial

*#26***#

and see if everything is OK

I had to calibrate proximity for some reason

I think I may need to make a true 4.4.4 upgrade package that updates all the partitions

I am gonna need some one to upload all the 4.4.4 partitions for me

I already have /system and boot
dont need data or cache
should not get modemst1 or modemst2 becasue that holds IMEI info
should not get persist because that holds wifi and mac address

what would be nice if some one had the update.zip from a metro phone that upgraded it to 4.4.4, so I could see exactly which partitions they updated during the process

You must have read my mind last night because I noticed this issue after I flashed back to BN from CM before bed. This fix has returned proper rotation to me as well. Thanks much.

Also, I haven't done anything with these images since I backed them up so you'll need to make sure that they are good. I did however verify that the md5 matched the original zip after uploading and redownloading.

but not data, even though it seems to get an IP and is connected
