Root Cm7 1.1

Hows handcent working for you guys on 1.0?

Quite a few mentions of the stock app and handcent not working..
 
What radio is everyone using? I have been MIA for awhile now, and i saw that with the gingerbread update came a new radio. Does it work with CM7 currently?

Haven't gotten any texts since I flashed like an hour ago. I've been restoring all my previous texts and am in airplane mode so it doesn't get messed up.

What exactly are people saying about it? Not sending/receiving?

Ugh, that sucks. If I spent all this time restoring and something so remedial as that is broken I'm going to be upset. Hopefully it's an isolated issue(s)

Are you having issues, brick?

Haven't flashed it yet. Have it sitting on ice right now until the mms thing is worked out. I guess SMS works, MMS does not. And since handcent converts large texts to MMS its kind of a deal breaker right now. Especially since 1.8 is running so well..
 
I've been texting with no issues since flashing it. Haven't had a chance with 4G data yet, but not a problem one otherwise.
 
I have flashed it 4 times now, and I'm just now able to send text. Iwould try to call and get a out of service error every time, but now its working fine.
 
Just a heads up, VZW "worked all day" on the Madden download and it's now working. I just installed it and it's working fine. You do have to install vcast to get it to work. I'm going to try and backup Madden with TiB and/or move it to my SD and see if it will install without vcrap, I mean vcast

Yup i had mms issues with 7.1 but i am downloading 7.1.1 now. It is weird having this free time thing. I am finally ahead in all my classes and have time to play with my phone again as a hobby rather than use it as a tool of communication. This timing works out well for me.

I will look into flashing the new radio tomorrow. I need to catch up on sleep.
 
Updated to 7.1.1 this morning. Supposed to fix MMS bugs among others, but no mention of SMS. I assume it was related, but I have no idea.

I'm using 3.7.1 and I'm actaully really surprised how well it's lasting so far considering I haven't calibrated. I've been off the charger for 3 hours, have used my phones pretty heavy and I'm still at 91% :eek:

I can only assume after calibrating it'll get even better, too
 
I just flashes 1.8 a few days ago and I am settled in very nicely and now I see another update....I can't keep up with all of this! LOL idk whether to stay on 1.8 or update to the newest....anyone that is currently running 7.1.1 can you explain any differences between that and 1.8? Besides changing from 2.3.5 to 2.3.7...

Kind of in the same boat, ill probably end up flashing the newest version. Just cause I always want the newest..

I think the only thing holding me back is that I had a flashable zip for the center clock mod made for 1.8. And I'm not well versed enough in smali to do it myself. Maybe someone *cough*Worm*cough* could do it? :)

Don't care so much about the transparency, just can't live without the center clock since it cleans up the look so much.
