No service is caused by some app being removed, i ran a logcat while testing some stuff that required service hoping that the logcat would pick up why we're getting no service error and it came back with lots of errors but ones that caught my eye were the telephonyprovider errors, i remember there was a telephonyprovider.apk in the Stock ROM. I decided to edit a few things a switch a couple apps and now when i boot theres no more signals bars showing that there is no aervice but instead showing a airplane mode icon. Airplane mode isnt working so thats not our problem, when i ran another logcat it now says "activityThread(319): failed to find provider info for mms-sms".
In setting your phone number is still not listed and neither is any of your phone info when it comes to service. Theres a hugh file/app still missing that contain these stuff, it still along way to go but i'll keep on trying.

have you successfully used Rom Manager without anything going south? i always thought unsupported phones shouldnt use Rom Manager..but atleast thats what i took from my Prevail use..i could be wrong?

if you pm me your email i can get you a copy of the Hroarks CM7 Prevail buildprop...maybe some of the stuff in there would also work for us...a few lines from the CM7 prop gave a 200 point increase benching compared to stock GB on the Prevail

its okay to be excited about this project..but you deff. dont wanna put any extra pressure on our developers..they have it hard enough job..

The kernel and ramdisk are different. The stock files are different. The baseband is different. Who knows what else.

Edit: Especially the stock files...they need to be added to each CM7 zip from stock Boost and Sprint Gingerbread.

ohh ok im just asking cus i have a sprint device but currently running the boost stock rom
 
So what's the status on the radio? Does it work on the boost rom? I have a sprint phone and it didn't work so I guess I am just gonna have to wait.
