This is weird....my 3G/4G is working however im not getting any service to call or txt anymore.. This is the radio i flashed [Radio] [Leak] [7-17-11]2.xx.xxx.x Radio New Gingerbread RUU
....I am also on the latest build of cm7.
I know i have been posting a lot lately but these problems need to be fixed pronto
Also it says i have 3 bars right now.. its very strange
Also tryed pullin the battery and SIM...still nothing

Try flashing another radio like the MR2 to see if that resolves. Make sure you verify the MD5 sums as well.

Try it again, if it doesn't work ill check this thread later and send you the zip file I used to download it.

For what it's worth, when I first flashed the mr2.5 radio I had terrible results. I reflashed the radio and it was smooth sailing after that. I would definitely recommend trying it again like Brick suggested

a couple other things come to mind...

check setings/about phone/wireless and networks. make sure your network mode is set on CDMA/something (CDMA+LTE/EvDo for 3g/4g)

you might try wireless and networks/access point names/menu softkey/reset to defalt

Shit this is bad isn't it?
Operator Name: Unkown
Signal Strength: 0
Mobile Network Type: Unknown
Service State: Out of Service
Roaming: Not Roaming
Baseband Version: Unknown

no,its not bad. youre getting that because your mr2 radios are not compatible with your MR1 rom. restore your cm7 backup and let us know the info there.

ok i might have to re flash cm7 i dont remember making a backup so it might take a little longer than expected, will update when i can

sounds good. id doublecheck the md5 sum of the cm7 that youre going to use,and also make sure you wipe data/cache/dalvik cache before flashing the rom and gapps.

id also very strongly reccomend doing it manually in recovery ify ou were previously using rom manager.

last and not least, make sure you are using cm7 rc 1.5.2,as a couple of people have inadvertantly doownloaded old versions from the first page of this thread thread thinking they were the most current(becasue they were on the first page ;))

i just reflashed cm7 and tried sending a txt...suprisingly it worked.
Baseband Version: 1.39.00.0627r, 0.01.69.0625r
Now ill try and flash gapps and see if the same problem happens

gapps was just flashed and so far so good with the service. ill test it for another day and if there are any problems i will come back here. Any helpful tips to keep an inexperienced imbicile (when it comes to rooting)to keep me from creating problems

give us a link to the gapps youre using.

might want to check the integrity of that file also.

I wish i remembered where i got it but the link that was posted on here by yeahha in another post was corrupt so i kinda just googled gapps a while ago and downloaded a random one.
