I thought lashing a different kernel would break these builds? Was that fixed?

I've had great success with Invisiblek #28 with this ROM. I was using SetCPU also before flashing the new kernel and battery life was okay. Now when I get home after 9 hours without a charge, I'm around 75%.

I'm thinking tethering is a no go. I did lose USB mounting, but the increase in battery life was worth it for me. In build #13 I can't sync my Gmail with the email app so I am using the Gmail app for that now. I'm able to deal with minor losses in functionality, but others may not be so forgiving.
Downloading #14 now, see how well it works! It is also about 1MB smaller.
What profiles are you using? Actually, which kernel are you on, that would make a difference in profiles. I have Alpha v4 so it gives me smartass governor but I don't have a profile yet.
What I usually do is run the new nightly and test it for a day. If I like it I nandroid and delete the old one. This way if I don't like the new nightly I can nandroid back without losing any settings or data. Pain in the ass but it keeps me out of trouble.
Screen off 384 max/ 235 min powersave
temp > 48.1 C 691 max / 245 min powersave
Battery < 25% 691max / 245 min powersave
These settings are pointless. Whenever you choose Power Save, it locks in the min speed. If you want it to actually use the specified range, but lean more towards power saving, use conservative.
DO NOT FLASH NIGHTLY BUILD 15!!!
It has a MAJOR bug: cannot make or receive calls (force close of phone app).
Confirmed by multiple users (myself included after a full wipe).
