Root CM7 Nightlies

Had this problem starting on 15 and continued through 20. When you encounter a major issue like this, it's time to stop the flash-overs and do a complete wipe. That's what fixed it for me. I'm on 23 and might not be doing another nightly unless they add a killer feature. Everything that I use seems to work fine for now.

I got the 7/05TB thing, but that fixed with a reboot. At this point though, sounds to me like you either need to do a Nandroid, or a complete wipe.

I've done about 5 factory resets. My nandroids will not work, nor will re-flashing builds. My only way out seems to use the RUU to unroot, then re-root and hope for success

Just to clarify:

You're doing the factory reset, then wiping cache, then wiping dalvik, and then flashing the Nandroid or a clear ROM?

My SD Card isn't properly mounting in 23 or 24. Winamp and the Video applications won't pull my sd card music and vids, have to use root explorer/astro to open them up.

EDIT: Won't properly mount in any build. Should I: A) Do a complete wipe and re-flash? (B) Format my card (C) A&B?
I've never had this happen, so I'm kinda clueless

Edit: refreshed the thread after posting and saw that many have already answered. Sorry.

Anyone running 25? This one is faster than the previous builds that came after 20. I think I'm going to sit tight on this one as well for a while. They have to be getting close to a release candidate anyway.

They are getting close to release candidate, Slayher dropped a screenshot on twitter earlier this week

yeah i saw that but on xda they are saying maybe another week until we see an RC and roumers are that the new slayher and invisi kernel will be included in the RC ... AHHHH i cant wait

I just installed #26. I have been running #12 for a while now but decided to give the new build a go. I am not a fan so far. Seems laggy(yes i did a FULL wipe). Also, the charge time is insanely slow. I doubt I would see a full charge today.

Getting over 1700 with build 26

I noticed that the lock screen phone and sms add ons were removed from going to build 23 to 26.. and where is the option for adding the battery % in the drawer?

Batt % is not merged yet.

What lock screen stuff are you talking about that were removed?

They added lock screen functionality in 26 (adding a 3rd button or 2nd slider to lock screen). (dotn forget we already have lock screen gesture too)

I've used ROM Manager to flash a over a dozen ROMs over the last month including each CM7 nightly since 17 (up through 27 last night and including 26 the night before) and haven't had a single problem.

I'd give it another shot.
