Root CM9 / MIUI Alphas (updated 03/20)

Ok the service.jar file for 00m fixes helps out alot.... I didnt do the zip correctly, so, i went into the zip and too the actual .jar file and replace the one in my frameworks and rebooted.... I went into script manager ran the v6 turbo charger... And it actually found my launcher... It is 100 % super charged. As to when i didnt have it it was only 25%.... I switched the trebuchet launcher with nova 1.0 and well, my phone seems to be running smooth... 22 citbun was also put into my init.d and my phone has no0 lagg... Fast internet and i gotta say.... After applying all these tweaks cm9 is finaly running like i want it... Except for the cam and blue tooth.... F it tho.. Lol time to take out the polaroid. Thanks hroark!
 
Haven't tried this yet... but just qurious if with the port of Miui for the Prevail has support for the Miui themes and if Miui music has the native online music working.

Thanks. I'm going to try this on my Prevail tonight. Its having issues of its own at the moment so anything that happens to it I'm not going to report but I'd like to see Miui in action!

themes should work now but remember they gotta be mdpi

dunno about the online music, didn't try it
 
@Bloodawn, can you tell me what isn't working besides the camera on the MIUI alpha besides the camera? Just curious..

camera, receiving MMS, bluetooth, lags a little, sometimes screen animations and scrolling aren't smooth

might be some other stuff but thats all i know atm
 
Thanks Bloodawn, I was itching to check it out... and just wanted to know what to expect before I play around with it some.

I really want to set my phone up with CM9! But I only have my main PREVAIL which I use for EVERYTHING.

I do not care about the camera, OR the bluetooth, so if you could break that down into steps I would appreciate that.

I'm willing to put my phone at risk simply because I know how to ODIN back to stock if necessary. I just need a set up with minimal lag/working 3g/WIFI/GPS/ and google services.

If this is all running on your phone, minus the camera and bluetooth; I would like in on it, lol! =/

BTW: Thanks hroark/bloodawn and everyone else trying to get this working...
 
So for a nandroid backup all I would need ti do is back mu system and upload the back up on cwm files?
 
I am testing the services.jar tweek (without kak and v6) phone is def more responsive. Menus do not hang as often. There is some amount of jitter but this has had a positive effect thus fare
