Root CM9 Music App

I'm running it on Drew's P5 and it looks really good. Perfect fit for ICS roms. Performance wise, music sounds loud and crisp. Comes with a 5 band EQ. Nicley displays artists, albums and tracks. It has a window on the lockscreen which takes up the top half of the screen. So far haven't come across any lagging or force closes. I would say on first use probably not on the same level as poweramp but it's pretty good. A must if you're running an ICS rom and want that ICS feel to it. This might be enough to keep me on an ICS rom longer than a couple hours, love the look of it!!

Seems to be very sluggish when going back to artist/album lists or changing songs from diff. artist WHILE playing music.

Well for "fully functioning" the roms out there are pretty good. Pretty much everything works except Wimax. It took a long time to get wimax working on CM7 and even then, we were probably lucky to ever get it working. I will definitely be flashing as first as the CM9 build is available.

I read an interview with Cyanogen that was posted the other day and it seems like their progress is coming along nicely. I don't think they want to rush a build just to get it out there...they'd rather take some extra time and make it good. And I'm down with that.

Don't know why but it seems to run a lot smoother on jared's beta1 than on drew's p5. The sluggishness i was getting on drew's isn't there while music is playing. Think i'll set-up everything on his beta1 and use it for awhile.
