So I thought id let you guys know im working on cyanogenmod 9. With it we can port miui 4 really easy. I have just forked reqs repo and unforgivins repo. I have not talked to them but hopefully I can get there blessing. I will update you in a few days after my first build. Wish me luck!!!

Not really trying to 'hype' it but i think it'll run okay.
example : Galaxy Prevail
And the dalvik cache is better on ICS too, especially if its CM9.. with a lot improvements..maybe.

Im going more for building source. Unforgivin had a device profile on his github and he says it boots. Ill only kang if source doesnt work out. On the prevail cm9 is like 118 mb. If we used a2sd space will not be a big deal. Only way im gonna kang the rom is if all else fails. Im building cm7 in a few mins just to get a feel for building. Few days I should have a very unusable first build. If you wanna help any way pm me but do not pm about testing as were days away from that.

i can vouch Boraichee has more then just 7z hero skills mate.

and Boraichee If you need any help or want help man hit me up lol kinda running out of shit i can kang into gingerbread lol so ya im looking at ics atm as im fixing the remaining issues of my ics build for the sgs2 :P

Thanks man! I could say the same for you.
I would love your help. Update 1 synced my repo. Im building cm7 before cm9. Had a hell of a time getting the code into my vbox (need 64 bit) and had to make iso files to bring all the code in because shared folders do not work well with linux mint. Almost have all the code layed out and will build cm7 tomorrow with reqs updated repo. Will se how it goes tomorrow.

ya time for some ics treatment lol sorry but after spending a whole night hyjacking shit into gingerbread need a new treat to do some damage to and thanks again man ;P

Got my devbox all set up. had to install on my pc as vbox was giving me all sorts of problems. Talked with playfulgod about the screen driver. He helped me update them to run ics.
 
I don't understand why everyone is saying we shouldn't run it, and how it won't fit with the given space. I've seen CM9 and AOKP ROM's that were around 100mb's or less. With hardware acceleration, I think we would be able to use it just fine.
 
Oh, and has anyone seen the Linux 3.0 Kernel>>? It's pretty nice, I wonder if we could use it for our phones, If any DEV is up to it.
