I tried jumping jelly bean and my phone was getting hotter plus wifi and sound don't work and since cm10 is based on JB. Is it the same source code in this rom?
 
CM10 is so cool, it runs smooth, wifi, sms, calling and 3G working.
4G,Camera & mms not working.

That's was all i could check, before i went back and restored the cm9 backup i did.

Once camera and mms are working, i will be switching to cm10

No. You just have to change the Hboot for that. All the rest just makes the phone better.

CM10 is not ready to be a daily if you need a camera, bluetooth or wimax but I m surprised that everything else is seemingly pretty ready to go. I am back on CM9 but will definitely be watching what happens with 10 as it is going to be VERY nice when it has a few more things done!

Looking pretty sweet, will have to try it soon. For now I'm settling down with cm9 and the "cobalt" theme from the market.
 
anyone else notice the top part of the screen is kinda unresponsive when using toggles? not sure if its a rom problem or kernel problem..posted in dot thread but I think it got missed for now I'll use this app to help..instead of pushing a toggle 10 times

Mine seems to be working ok. Did you install the latest?
 
nope on .0.7.1

the lights for soft keys dimming was kinda freaking me out so I decided to stick with 0 7 1 for now

That is apparently borrowed from another build and is planned. Lights go off until you touch something then come back. I kinda like it.

he said that's a feature he added. They go off after the screen is inactive for so long and come back on when it is touched. I like it
 
Any voicemail app suggestions for cm9?
I know original VM one wont work, and google voice wont work either because of no call forwarding
 
Had not even noticed that about voice mail. I use Google voice for everything and have to be able to get my message over wifi. Back to midnight now. Sense seems really clunky after a couple of days on aosp!
