I made this thread so we can give our devs the thanks they deserve and compliments they deserves you can post your thoughts oppinions requests in future roms anything you would like but please say thanks to the devs without them..well there would be no ics cm7 miui cm9 and all the other roms and kernels.(:

From getting this phone out of the box, and seeing the ugly red background, to the bubble unlock on CM7....this phone is capable of so much more than bone stock....and the dev's and the community make it happen...
So, let's get crackin on ICS, so we can all get cooled down till Jellybean 5.0...:D
 
Thanks goes out to all the dev's out there who help make any phone more than a phone. All the Triumph guys deserve great praise for what they have done to fix Moto's mistakes.

A special thanks goes out to my brother, shane87 at XDA. He has taught me so much in the ways of linux, c programing, computer programing and just computers in general, and after I convinced him to get and Android device, he was at home on it with his Linux background and has taught me many many things, especially about Android Kernels

Thanks goes out to the admin staff and web developers here, without them we wouldn't have this amazing android lounge we like to call AndroidForums.com

Thanks goes out to the cyanogenmod team as we all know there advancements in Android developing can be felt on any phone regardless of whether it has CM or not.

I would like to thank the ideos x6 dev's for all there contributions to our phone.

Thanks to the devs at Motorola and Virgin Mobile for giving us a phone with so many bugs we could spend alot of dev time fixing them! LOL

Thanks to anyone who has inspired another dev to make or improve something out there. This is how greatness is made on these phone!!

I think that about covers it all lol!!
 
I also would love to give thanks to every developer here and across the community, sorry that I havent been to active, been lurking the most time. You guys made this underdog of a phone come out from the imaged virgin mobile low-end phone. I love this phone more than ever after root and custom romming, made it twice as great! I have gave you thanks already, keep supporting your fans and we'll give you support back. Thanks Dev team and AndroidForums :-D

I am even more thankful after I have visited the All Things Root section of other prepaid smartphones including VM's other phones and there is little to no development for them when compared to what is going on over here for the Triumph! :D

We have been fortunate enough to have so many brilliant minds creating beautiful new ROMS, animations, logos, modifications, fixes etc... makes me think Motorola should have consulted with some of these people before shipping out the Triumph ;)
 
It would be smart for any manufacturer to be open about their source code going forward. It's like getting free labor. Release a buggy product along with the source code (which they're legally required to anyway since it's Linux) along with an unlocked bootloader and leave it up to the user community to polish it up. Sad, but it may be the "Android way".

True. If a company is gonna do a half-ass job they better give some source with it for the community to fix their mistakes. To bad in reality that's not really how it works.
 
Yes and I wish we had more source code like the framework and some of the libraries and the wifi module code! We could bake some awesomeness then!
