The main issue I'm having now is that everyone complains that I sound muffled when I talk to them on the phone, even if I'm speaking up (whether on speaker phone or not).
I had the same issue in V9.5 but had never experienced it before that. Any ideas? I've been installing successive versions on top of each other. Would that make a difference?

I haven't had anyone say that to me but next few phone calls I'll be sure to ask and see what they say... I don't think the flash overs should have any effect on that really as long as you did a full wipe before flashing after V6... That was the last one that really needed a full wipe. I've just done flash overs as well since that one. Have you tried *228 to see if that makes any difference at all?
Are you supposed to do that each time you update? Is it option 1 (activate or program your phone) or option 2 (update roaming capabilities), or both?

I dunno..... some of it sounded rather intriguing.....
I learned something new about Google Maps last night when I had insomnia. 
If you want to tilt or rotate the view in Google Maps in 3D on our phones, you just drag two fingers horizontally at the same time or vertically at the same time. Try it. It's pretty cool.
Also, if you double tap with two fingers, it zooms out.

V10 has GPS fixed, gallery rotation fixed, newer cm nightly, longpress status bar and slide to adjust brightness and some speed tweaks I added. I think 10 is a little faster and smoother than 7 was personally. You could always make a nand backup and try 10 and if you were happier with 7 restore that.... its entirely up to you
Ok, while running v9, the SD card that came with the phone died (8gb)....nothing would recognize it as existing (posted earlier about it). Took all my pics music and apps with it.
When i got my new card (16gb), i flashed up to v10 (thursday morning). This morning, my phone locked up totally, after about 10 minutes, i pulled the battery. Now the phone tells me its got a blank or invalid file system. Booted to recovery, and it sees the zips from flashing. Pulled the card from the phone, stuck it in the comp, and everything appears to be fine.
(EDIT) "SD card blank or has unsupported filesystem." is the actual message displayed.
Suggestions? What do I check, what do i try. Tell me what else y'all need to know to give a diagnosis.

You don't say whether or how you formatted the SD card originally. I am assuming that you just plugged it in.
Anyway, first back up the files on the SD card to your computer.
Restart the phone in Recovery, go to the "Partition SD Card" menu. Choose "Partition SD card". Choose 0 bytes for swap size and 0 bytes for ext2 size. This should format the card with a FAT32 partition only.
It is possible that there is something wrong with the SD card slot or circuitry. However, what are you using for min and max clock speeds? Is it possible that you are overclocking too high?
Yes, just plugged in. I did partition it with 512 for the 2 numerical options. I'll try it out though. Running 710 high and stock low, smartass gov. will leave them alone this time.

That would be a problem if you partition with 512 for both. As I understand it, they must both be 0 so that you have only a single FAT32 partition for this ROM to see and mount the SD card. (Saying that, it may be possible to partition it another way, with the first partition FAT32 and other ext2, ext3 or ext4 partitions toward the end of the partition table, but I am not 100% sure about that.)
710 should be ok for max, though some phones have issues with it. You may want to try running at 604 to see if it runs into the problem at that speed. If it does not, you could try bumping up to 710 and then see what happens.
I tend to doubt that clock speed is causing this issue, but it doesn't hurt to rule it out. I'm only wondering about OC speed because you said that the phone locked up completely - that could be an OC issue.
Did the format as you spec, and checked and it seems i hadn't changed the clock & gov like i thought. Leaving the clock alone, going to S.A. gov. Working on reinstalling the apps i lost. Much obliged. this time i'm going to get titanium going and dropbox it all.
The lockup was while i was trying to download several files at once.....probably my fault.

what *I* like is the 4d app drawer,and the ability to make the app drawer background translucent... tho recent LP updates may have changed that its been a couple months since i used it.
functionally i havent noticed much difference between the two...
what do YOU prefer in LP over ADW?

v10 is running great CS. Great work, as always.
As far as LP v. ADW, I prefer the LP scrolling dock to the hidden dock in ADW and the ability to hide apps in the app drawer (I don't recall seeing this in ADW, but I might have missed it). Otherwise, I've never noticed a performance difference between the two, and I don't use the LP+ widgets. Both of them are great, and you can tell that both developers work hard.

ill have to run LP for a bit. it has been quite awhile since i last played with it.

Just to add to my preferences of adw over LP..... size..... (you can tell I'm not a chick) .... LP is using 5.85, adw ex is 2.14 and stock cm adw 684 KB. Granted that will be a little larger now that they've added transition effects but it'll still be smaller than ex.
And Scotty and metlcat.... you guys definitely do you share of helping people on here as well....
