That is another option I should have mentioned but I've had times where that for some reason didn't stay connected long enough to finish the update then I'd call from the same spot and do it the other way and it would work fine. Either way is just as good as the other as long as it works though lol
 
Just wanted to let you all know that go launcher is having issues lately, not sure how many of you actually use it but its been force closing and then using the calendar go widget with it when you exit a program it would go back to the calendar. So we have switched to adw and hopefully that will take care of issues.

Also heres something I keep forgeting to ask and its been bugging me for a while now, does anyone elses tapatalk on xda force close? I just wanted to ask and make sure its not just us.

Cant wait for 9.5 :) feel silly that I have been checking here off and on all day today lol :D

I hope the Go Launcher issue is theirs and not the ROM lol. I used to use it but I have taken to ADW EX.. I don't use anything else any more lol. I do run LP once in a while but only when I'm testing the Rom since that's the one that most people seem to have the most problems with.

I keep getting the FC on tapatalk too... I'm not sure what is causing it though. It does it usually once per session and if I hit wait it works fine right away again.

9.5 probably won't be ready today.. I'm still trying to sort a few things out... the incoming call response seems to have dropped down some for me and I want to try a few more things for the gallery issue first too :)

Im not sure if it was a problem with the rom but its okay we can try out adw, it seems good, I miss the features of go but will get used to them not being there.

Thats great how you are making sure that all the things you want to do are worked out and its okay if it isn't out today no biggie take your time, it will be great.

I'll try it out for a little bit and see what it does for me and if I can come up with anything... Was there an update to it recently that it started doing it after?
 
Testing update again today. So far its going great except the effing gallery. :mad: either way I'll probably have something up tonight when I get home.

I won on an incredible this morning too so I'll be able to start working in something for that soon too ;)

Condemned CM7 V9.5 ;) This is a mixed version for trial...It doesn't have the apps removed like the stripped version but it does have a lot of the ringtones removed like the stripped version... It's kind of a hybrid I guess lol. I'll update both versions once I know those that try this are happy and I finish resyncing with CM. Honestly though there's not a big difference in size now between Vanilla and Stripped... only a couple of MB is all. Dalvik wipe should be fine but if you're anal and want a full wipe then go for it :p. Don't forget to flash gapps as well.....
 
9.5 is really fast seems awesome so far thank you cs for another great update :D. Couple of questions My htc mod keyboard seems slow tho is there anyway that I can fix it? I'm going to try and switch back and forth from the stock and back to it and see if that fixes it and if that doesnt work Im going to uninstall and reflash it from recovery. Otherwise I havent seen any other problems well from the few things I have looked at since rebooting. and is 48 heap size recommened? Thank you in advance.


Edit: it seems to be slow only in browsers.

I have also tried the stock keyboard, and I have tried both the mod and stock keyboard in the stock browser and dolphin mini.

I plan on trying miren and opera as well

Its odd that it didnt do it before the update, I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the mod keyboard since its having issues in multiple browsers. Is there anything else that I can try?

I've been using the latest version of Opera Mobile and I've been impressed. :)

9.5 should be be a noticeable change in speed and smoothness. Incoming call response should be better... all my calls no start showing the incoming call screen a little before the ring starts instead of just after. The screen should come on better when you move it from your ear during a call. I removed the local.prop file that was added for LP and fixed the lag a different way. This time LP felt as fast and smooth as ADW EX for me.I default the VM heap size to 48 instead of 32.. this felt a lot smoother to me as well and those that run bigger apps or do a lot of multi tasking should benefit from this as well. Browsing and data connections also feel a bit smoother to me with 9.5.

I haven't really noticed the keyboard lag but it could be that I wasn't focusing on that as well... I'll try and take notice today and see what I can do. I also finally got to installing Go Launcher last night so I'll mess with that today and see what it does to me. I was running LP pretty much all day yesterday to test that.

I feel like I'm leaving something out of this post :o If I figure out what it is I'll let you know lol.:eek:

Edit: Still working on the Gallery issue too... I'll figure it out though... hopefully soon lol
 
Thank you for all the work that you are doing so far condemned. :) It does seem faster and smoother. I am going to try out all the apps I usually use today and see how they do today and also I just switched my heap size from 32 to 48 and I wanted to see how that was today too. I will let you know. :D

Battery seems to be dying quick but I am going to recalibrate today and see if that fixes it.
 
Just flashed my wife's phone from v6 to v9 & I can't find the theme that makes the notifications bar icons light blue. Any reason why? I selected the 2nd theme in the theme app
