Root condemned cm7

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what I did wrong.

All of a sudden my trackball has begun to act up. Its nothing major I just want to figure out what I must of hit or what setting I might of changed by accident.

Whats happening is that when I try to take a picture or open an app with the trackball it opens up a bluetooth menu and I dont have a bluetooth connected to the phone. Also the trackball scrolls fine but has been having issues selecting things in recovery.

I was wondering how I can fix this & Thank you for any help.

Mine used to do that every once in a while. It seemed like the trackball had a flat spot or something. I got a little forceful with mine and it hasn't happened since lol.

I'll be replacing my screen today on the Eris and I'm Resyncing everything with cm to get working on an update. Any requests for anything? Seems like a lot of people like the miui camera.... Should I put it in place of stock or leave it a flashable? Do a lot of you flash it or stay stock?

Something else to try when you get home if you haven't already. Try resetting your router by plugging it for about 20 seconds then plugging it back in. Enjoy your vacation.

I just use the stock camera. The only time I used something different was when I tried out Kaosfroyo and the stock camera didn't work.:eek:
 
I'll leave the camera stock. I will probably be testing the update tomorrow night at this point and I'm experimenting with a couple other things I'd like to try with the ROM. I'll see how it goes before uploading though. Hopefully it will be good :)... got a little set behind on things after having to put new brakes on the Grand Cherokee today :mad: I'll have something soon though

Ew I bet I dont like mass that much and never feel right being there long not to you know bash the state or anything or you know be mean to them but I can relate to why it would be one of the worst parts lol, sorry that I took so long to reply to that lol. I'm looking forward to the update. :) Is it working like you wanted with the new things you wanted to try, sorry my curiousity is getting the best of me.

So far its not. It broke 3g lol. I'm gonna try a few more things with it first and hopefully have something soon ;)
 
I have a question about this rom. Do I need to partition my sd card ? I had to do it when I flashed xtrsense but I couldnt find info for condemned cm7 so I am not sure if I am supposed to or not.

No, your sdcard should not be partitioned. If you're trying to use apps2sd with your sdcard partitioned on this ROM, it probably will not work.

Coming from 2.1 with a partitioned SD card you'll want to reformat to remove the partitions and doing so will remove the secure folder. You can format in recovery and just make the first 2 partitions 0. Don't forget to backup you SD card on your pc first.
 
You can try a dalvik only wipe but if you have any problems you will need to do a full wipe.

6/29/2011 Resynced with CM Source. Check CM changelog for added features. Some prop changes. gapps are still built into ROM
 
I haven't tested this much yet but if anyone wants to check it out here is the apk for the new market. It's pretty sweet. My understanding though is that rooted devices are not supported for the movie rentals. If you try it you'll more than likely get an Error saying that and lose your $3.99 for the rental lol.

My suggestion...

Backup current market with TI.
Download the new apk.
Install like an app over the existing market.
