Its definitely faster :) cm added a screen shot feature and some other mostly minor changes. I'm still playing with some things trying to speed some things up more but I took some out til I figure out which one broke 3g lol. I'm going to mess with it a little at a time til I Max it out ;)

Do you think we're likely to have problems flashing over?

By the way, I still don't understand what the difference is between S2H and vanilla, other than some of the things being removed. I mean, does it free up more memory so it can run faster? :confused:

Also, is there a way to get certain ringtones back? I actually like Beat Plucker and Canopus, for example. :(

It frees up system memory which in my opinion results in a smoother experience. As far as the ringtones they can be extracted from any of the vanilla roms from system/media/ringtones and either placed in that folder using estrong or root explorer or make media/ringtones on your SD card and pit them there. Same goes for notification sounds. If you put them on your SD card you wont have to do it with each update.

Dalvik wipe seems to be doing fine for people as well.

Click the soft menu button and then edit. It will allow you to add or remove screens. I'm currently running 4 as of right now.

CS, I must say that I'm extremely disappointed in this ROM. It is way to fast, smooth, and without bugs. Please slow it down, add some lagginess, and make stuff not work. That way I can have my old Eris back. Thank you. :D

Golly..if u can make the screen bigger I will ditch my charge ..oh heck maybe ill chuck anyways ...this ROM is SUPER ......:D

Try using navigation... I hear some people are still having issues with it.. I haven't been able to do a real good test on it myself yet ;) lol

Hey gem.. how you been? I can try to make is seem bigger as well as add 4g icons lol.. would that work? :D lmao
 
I messed with navigation for a little bit with no problems. I honestly haven't run across any problems, but I'm probably not the most extreme user. Heck, my wife finally let me root her replacement and I put your ROM on there and she loves it.
 
Mine is running really slow. I'm not sure why. I even tried a full factory reset.

Could someone please give me a rundown of all the best settings for this ROM to run fast and smooth?

The only thing I can think of that I've changed is S2H instead of vanilla and ADW instead of LauncherPro, hoping that it might be faster. I have plenty of internal storage because I have most of my apps on SD.

Looking through the Phone apk folder in the zip there was a res folder in the drawable-mdpi-finger folder with an image that should have been in the finger folder. The res folder doesn't belong there at all. Maybe that was causing the problem.. I'm not real sure. I renamed the image and put it where it belongs and zipped it back up for MM if you want to try it out and let me know. Don't forget to backup first. I added CSM to the beginning of the zip file so you know it's the one I changed.

:confused: Slow? I run mine at the stock settings with no problems myself... Maybe try LP if that's what you're used to and see if that's the difference? Also.. try going into spare parts and setting animation and transition animations to fast..

Thank you I will try that in a little while. Hopefully it works otherwise I may go and try a different one prob the cyan dragon one since maybe the theme chooser would make it work I didn't even try that lol.

maaaaan im a slacker! i still havent rerooted so i can get back into the game here,lol... had some issues with my TB,and been an extra busy week at work :eek: maybe this eveing ill get a chance to play with him again :)
