Root condemned cm7

Flashed v15 after full wipe and flashing gapps 6/13 afterward. Everything is running very smoothly including Maps and Navigation.

I wanted to take the time to let you know how much I appreciate your willingness to constantly improve the operating system on my Eris. This last update, in particular, seems to really make a difference!

Did a dalvik wipe and flashed v15 and encountered a reboot loop. Re-downloaded another copy of v15 just incase and tried it again with similar results. Restored to v14 with nandroid backup. Has anyone else encountered similar troubles? I would prefer to avoid a complete wipe if possible.
 
After my initial screw up ..finally got it to my liking. This is fabulous all away through. Your continued dedication to this rom is wonderful and I greatly appreciate it. THANKYOU!

Persistence pays off. Download yet another copy of v15. Wiped the dalvik and re-flashed and all is well. I will give the navigation a test run later. I noticed the built in screenshot utility. Nice!! Many thanks.

Glad you got it working. Today ended up getting pretty busy here. Sorry I couldn't get in sooner. Very happy to hear a few people are enjoying the Rom :) makes it all worth while. :D
 
Day 2..Even after getting LTE on my charge today..found myself playing with this ROM..(no I'm not sick) . CS is the best dev for our phones. Clap clap (applause) .
 
Installed on Friday. So far, so good. I've been traveling in Canada though, so I have mostly had the phone in airplane mode and using wifi when it's available to avoid roaming charges. I don't seem to have the problem with wifi dropping out constantly that I was experiencing before. If the problem comes back when I get home, I will know it is my router and not the phone.

Battery life has been great but it always is in airplane mode.

Thanks for all the work you do supporting our little Eris! The hubby just got a Droid Pro so I've been experiencing a certain amount of envy, but that is one ugly phone.
 
Well, I thought I was back to having the wifi drop out at my house, but it turned out the power was out. Hope these thundershowers will give us some relief from the heat!
 
Haven't heard from me lately have you guys. I'm still watching. If anyone has any spare water we sure could use a little here in the midlands. I need to fire up the Eris and do some experimenting on her.:D

just got v15 all seems well but went to set up my homescreen and alot of my widgets (weather bug elite and motospeak are two i noticed i know there are others) arent showing up under widgets...tryed a reboot with no luck tried updating weatherbug no luck...any help ?

Sorry for the delayed response. My first suggestion would be to try rebooting into recovery, do a dalvik wipe then scroll to .... it's either other or advanced and select fix uid mismatches. if that doesn't work try running fix permissions in ROM Manager.

That can be the result of moving them to the SD card. Widgets don't work from the SD card. If that's where they are, just move them back to the phone and they should work fine. :)
