Root condemned cm7

CCM7 V20... Now splashed with ICS!

***Changed as of V20.***
*Removed ADW launcher and replaced with Ice Cream Sandwich launcher.
*Nexus Prime ICS Boot animation (No more boot audio either)
*Removed 3d gallery and replaced with Quick Pic.
*Changed font to Roboto font from ICS
*Modified and added a few more tweaks.... this ROM is very smooth now :D

If coming from V19 Dalvik and cache wipe only are fine. Anything else will need full wipe.

Condemned CM7 V20 - Vanilla

Condemned CM7 V20 - Stripped 2 Hell - This version has a lot removed from it such as foreign fonts, over half of the ringtones, DPSManager, CM Wallpapers, and a lot of other things.

Is this latest version stable with maps and navigation, or is that considered a lost cause?

My most recent feedback has been that it is. I still include maps 5.2 in the ROM which was always stable but I've also had feedback that the latest maps version is stable as well. If you update maps and have issues with it you can always uninstall the update of maps. My Eris is no longer active so that is one thing that I don't get to test very frequently anymore.

You still need to flash c2c if you use it but not gapps. There's really no themes or anything for the launcher and no extras as far as dock settings or home screen settings but I'm gonna make a flashable soon to revert back to adw launcher for those that prefer it. There are screenies in my xda op if someone can post a link to it. I'm on my phone atm lol.

Looks great so far. Got everything set up and it's running smooth.
Might go back to ADW launcher though, just too used to it. :)

Only problems I've had so far were with installing "appbrain market" and its "fast web installler". Finally after about 10 tries it worked.
At first I got errors downloading both and upon opening they force closed immediately.

Same with Tweetdeck. That app downloaded fine though, no errors, opened up, but after what looked liked signing in successfully it went to the tweet column and force closed immediately every time.
When I opened it back up it was right back to the sign in screen and the whole process repeated itself. Had to uninstall it and use a different Twitter client for now.

Quick question, where did the option to pick live wallpapers go? Can't seem to find it.

I'll see what I can do about those errors. I'll also flash the vanilla back and check on LWP... Could be something with the launcher though. I only removed live wallpaper stuff from S2H.

Hahah no worries about the LWP, my bad.
Must be the lack of sleep... I flashed S2H of course!

I usually don't even use LWP, but my hubby was asking if my phone could do it and I said: "Sure!" *searches frantically*
Yeah... :)

EDIT:
Gave installing TweetDeck one more try, went flawless this time. Everything is working fine now.

I flashed it last night. It works fine on the Eris, though it told me it was missing something for the device. It's just a theme. It'll make the settings screens look more like honeycomb/ICS, changes a few icons, and themes a few apps like gmail. I did find a bug that made the background and text of the list of alarms the same color, but you can still see what they are by tapping on them.

In v20, I can't see the text in the calendar for all-day events or at times where I have multiple events scheduled for the same slot. I wonder if it has to do with the Roboto font.

Everything thing looks good spec wise until I get to the 5mp camera. WTH is with that.

Megapixels aren't everything - photo quality depends on optics, sensor quality, etc. Look at the Eris - 5 MP, but photos shot with it are worse than a point and shoot with a 2 MP sensor.

Everything looks fine so far. I cannot test phone and messaging functions, though.

I did install Go Launcher EX - I wanted to test that out before I put it on my other phone. It's not bad...

I'll have to give this a try. I'm past due for an upgrade. Maybe running the ICS launcher for a while will let me decide if the Nexus is the way to go with my next phone.

I get the idea they've put more into the quality of the camera and its features, rather than in beefing up the number of pixels. I felt the demos at the launch event were impressive.

Unless you plan to print a poster from it, you will probably never care that it's only 5 Megapixels.
