Root condemned cm7

If you're getting a bootloop then do a dalvik and cache wipe... maybe the script didn't clear them right. Sorry about that :o

The file size and md5 Scotty posted is correct.
 
i dint make a backup of themed v5. oops... lol

i just got done restoring v4 and updating so i dint have to set up again. ill try again with a cache/dalvik wipe after i get back from running some errands with the GF. bc,whenever i get that message,if i plug it in it will flash or restore. ive never had to wait for it to charge

Howdy, all! Going to give this ROM another whirl after my phone charges tonight. I'm not flashing c2c for someone who asked in an earlier post. I am redownloading Condemned v5 and also the gapps 3/7/11. Going to finish charging my phone, back up, and the do the wipes and reflash.

Should I do as I normally would for other new ROMs?
- Wipe Factory/Data
- Wipe cache
- Wipe Dalvik
-Flash ROM
-Flash gapps
-Reboot

Yes ma'am... that would be correct ;) I might also suggest given your last experience and just to make certain you wipe well. Maybe try wiping each 2 or 3 times. You can never wipe too much but if you don't wipe enough you can get a bad experience :D

'Will do! Right now my phone is nearly dead.. so sometime tonight when it's charged, I'll go for it! :)

These guys are pretty smart here :) Maybe one day i'll learn something from some of them :D one can only hope. Now that I've got a lot of things finished with some other things.... I can try and get back to myself in the forums again. Might be a little bit before I'm completely me again but I can at least respond a little faster than I have recently...
 
Here are my findings.

LauncherPro: Very smooth with this ROM. I was having the black screen issue a lot with GSB, but with this ROM I only got them on a restart. It doesn't seem to repopulate as much as adw did, but adw seemed a little faster when just unlocked.

JIT Off: Things have seemed smoother and faster. Angry Birds was playing better, at least at first. It did slow down after a while.

I'd say send the new test ROM to me as well, but I won't have time this weekend. I'll just wait until the next release.

Glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback bro. That Slayer app rocks BTW :D The test I'm running now is only a change of build prop. That's all that's being changed atm. I'm just seeing how it works for other people instead of just me before I add it to the rom so I can see if it needs any adjustments. If you want to tr it out I'll pm it to you if not that's cool too :)

I'm at my girlfriend's place and I'll get in hot water if I spend too much time on android stuff. Sunday would be the soonest I could get to it. If that wouldn't be too late, pm it to me.

Women are a pain in the a$$ aren't they :rolleyes: lol. I'll pm it to you for your use later then. I have some things going on here this weekend too so I doubt I'll get a chance to get together a decent update before monday or tuesday anyway ;) more than likely won't be monday though.
 
Just got V5 set up with the new build prop flash. All seems fine right now. For a change I am running ADW as the launcher, so we'll see how that goes. I haven't received any phone calls yet, so we'll see how that goes when it happens.
