Root could someone build a theme for me?

Could someone build a rom for me? It is for my girl she has been hounding me to build her a theme based souly around sea turtles. Right now she is running joymod. There doesn't have to be any apps really on it just the basic ones like on joy mod app2sd or whatever is used like koumakernel. I would build it but i no longer have the prevail(wish i did).
Her phone is running joy mod 1.0, its rooted but certain apps dont get superuser access. It has the newest update ff19 i think, flashed it with odin. It has clockworkmod and partitioned sdcard with computer backup of sdcard. I downloaded basically all the roms out on here, so it can be a theme for any rom. Before i put a new rom the phone i do a full wipe of sdcard and phone so theres no problems. If there is any information needed that i didnt put just let me know.

I am not a "Theme-builder", but you need to let people know what ROM you are running on your phone if it's rooted, etc..... This is info needed for people who might be able to make a theme.....
 
I can try. Put links of what pictures it is that you want to be used.

Maybe a description of where the picture could go.
And. What ROM to make it for.
 
She said any pictures are fine, in wallpapers, icons, and possibly drop down bar. Apparently. She likes the half ass rom cause it is simple or CT 3.75 which ever one would be easier.
 
If I have a few hours of free time, ill try and do this. But the girlfriend doesn't like it when I'm on the PC too much. Lolz.
 
Heh, just think.... we could start a forum for wives and girlfriends of Android Forum users. Lord have mercy at the gossip & bitching that would go on in that forum. WHEEEWEEE! LMAO That was a scary thought!! :D :p:p

Not much man. Just been chillin'. Gonna be rooting the wife's Prevail this weekend and giving her the Wetbiker intense tutorial on how to use it. Who is not looking forward to the tutorial is me. I have a feeling I'm gonna get YELLED at a few times. lmao:p Oh well, once she gets the hang of it she'll love me even more than she does now. She love me long time. :D

If she doesn't, well then I'm gonna have to CALL BULLSHIT! :smokingsomb:

The wife has the HTC One V coming in a few days(her 1st Android phone, but not 1st Android device; I rooted her Nook tablet.) I requested that she pick a Samsung because of how easy to root is, but noooooooo, she had to pick a HTC. From what Ive gathered, HTCs are the biggest pain in rear to root and time consuming. On top of it, thanks to all my talking about Roms for the Prevail, she wants me to put a custom Rom on hers, and then wants a theme based on our 1yr old son. Ive created a monster! LoL

I don't know about HTC devices but my Asus tablet would have been a pain in the *ss if I didn't know what I was doing. Thankfully I knew a little about adb that I learned here and in the Marquee section. That helped a BUNCH! All the info over at XDA helped out a lot too. :ridinghorse:

One of the reason I bought her a Prevail is it's a great phone and easy to work on. Plus, I really like the community here. The Prevail will make her a good 1st Android. Once she learns how to use it she'll never go back to a dumb phone. :p Oh, I've already got her a real nice PINK theme picked out too. :thumbup:

I looked over the root instructions for the phone, and I should be able to do it. Its just that there is A LOT more steps. Ive rooted a ton of phones for friends and Ive always had the policy of not doing HTC because I knew they were a pain. I guess the good thing about it is now Im forced to learn rooting for HTC devices. Why cant all phones have a program similar to ODIN??? I think the themeing part will be faster than the rooting:rolleyes:
 
Yeah i know how you feel everyone asks me to root their phone i lucked out they all have samsung phones. I have the zte score and cant use odin. I can only use my laptop for my phone now, guess its because its 10 years old. I am not allowed to use her computer unless im fixing it. So if you start that forum ill sign up right away.
 
The only pain with HTC is having to unlock the bootloader via the HTC Dev site... after that its cake. (And even that isn't too complicated... just annoying)

Im sure Ill figure it out, its just before I dive into doing something new, I do a lot of research to ensure its done right the first time. I cant go messing with things all willy nilly. But yeah, from the research Ive done, the unlocking the bootloader part is the most foreign. Even though Im complaining a little, Im still excited that with her new phone Ill be able to install some nice roms given that the phone comes with ICS. And I get to dust off my theme kitchen skills(I hope I remember how or its more research time) :rolleyes:
 
I done the root without S-off which meant I had to manually flash my kernel. With S-on, the phone is still under warranty :-)

Hey, were all friends here. One thing leads to another. And I only mentioned the HTC because I also have to make a theme. Sometimes these forums/threads turn into more of conversation than staying on point. Thats why the Prevail forum section has so many views. Its lively discussions. But I do apologize to the OP for throwing my happenings in, instead of showing the much owed respect for the creature of kings, the mighty and all knowing sea turtle:D
 
LOL. I love this Prevail section! There's no telling where a conversation will end up in some of these threads. :p:p
