Root Custom Boot - Blue X takeover for root users

I was going to create a Robot Chicken related animation, but it's already 3AM and I really wanted to post this for now. I'll probably work on the second one, (possibly more) tomorrow and later on. Enjoy.

man i want custom sound!! why did you guys have to say anything???

excellent job on these. installing the blue takeover as soon as i get it.

on a second note..a "transformers style" logo that changed itself might be cool..specially if you could put the transformers sound with it.
 
I am also using the blue boot screen witht he blue Droid2 live wallpaper. Thanks for your hard work and creativity. I love this combination.

I have the droid 2 live wallpaper but i havent seen the blue one. Someone mind posting a link or pm me the apk, that would be awesome. TYIA
 
I would like to officially announce that a cylon eye boot would be the best thing ever made. I would have to restart my phone for everybody I met.
 
...needs sound behind it...anyone got any ideas?

edit...ive tried putting sound files in a bunch of places..nothing works. i think maybe its just not written into the instructions to look for sound. really, i need to log it to see what files it searches, but i dont know how.

also trying to figure out a way to make the /system folder 755 so we can make changes at the source, but its not working out ...says its ROM only...eh, oh well
 
Looking for a saints/fleur de lis boot animation. I know people are creating lots of them i just suck at it. If you have one, have seen one or are really cool and can create one please let me know or send a link (Yes i have googled it).

Hi i need help I have converted a GIF file to a 30 frame PNG File. however when i re zip the file using win rar (ZIP and STORE) It still will not play.
Any ideas? Will be happy to email it to a more talented person :)

Can someone make me a Georgia Bulldog boot logo. I suck at graphics. Would just be cool. If not, its cool.
 
anyone know what the name of the boot music file is? i went to system/media and its empty save for an audio folder that doesn't seem to have the file in it.
 
Did anything ever come of the cylon boot animation idea? I'm becoming slightly obsessed with the idea...

It's not a bad start. a few thoughts:
1) The eye is too fast (and perhaps a bit too dark?)
2) I'm not a fan of the landscape boot animation - would prefer it just be in portrait
3) I'm more of an old school cylon fan, but I'll take what I can get.

Problem is, I have absolutely ZERO skills to fix any of this. I'm hoping that by posting a starting point here, someone with some skills can improve on this :D
