Accessories Custom Made Incredible Dock

Mine arrived over the weekend. As others have noted, it's even nicer in person; pictures don't do it justice.

these for my USB cable. Makes for a more portable cradle as I can hook it up to any standard mini-USB cable.
 
I've really like the pictures I've seen of this. Am I correct that the Incredible is held completely vertical in this dock? Is there a way to tilt it back some?

The dock does have a slight angle (I can't remember the degree, but it's in this thread somewhere).
However, IMO there really isn't a HUGE difference . . .
One thing I did to give me more of an angle is finesse the cable bracket/clamp.
If you angle the connector towards the back of the dock (viewed from the top), you can tighten the clamp & gain a few more degrees.
One other thought, if you adhere non-slip pads under the front feet, you'll gain even more of an angel.
 
just purchased one. great design and crafstmanship. the only suggestion i can add is updating the default company logo on the confirmation page and order confirmation email.
 
:confused:... On 10-4 I got an email saying my order shipped. To date I have not received the item. USPS still says that they have not received the package and have only received electronic notification of the shipment.
 
I received several shipping notices and an email from John saying that something was wrong with the shipping on the orders on the 4th.

Hopefully, it is straight and the bugs got worked out.
 
:cool:I got the same messages that you got. Still nothing on usps. I hope this get's straightened out soon so we get them. Should have ordered two from the get go and would only had to go thru this once. I know John is working hard on this and wants it to be right. I'm sure he will have it fixed soon.

Last week was a train wreck and I am sorry. I had more problems with the shipping admin. I am pretty sure everything is sorted now and everyone who has placed an order will receive their docks this week. I promise :)...
Again I am sorry.

I did receive my Droid X last week and almost have a dock designed in including the magnet for the docking mode. It should be pretty sweet, however i think I prefer the incredible to the X ;)

You gonna start a thread in the X section when you have a working model? If so, PM me or any other guide/mod to get it added to the global accessory sticky located in each section
 
I ordered one of these and then had to return my Dinc. I received my dock today, it is for sale on Ebay if anyone is interested.

post office messed up. said was undeliverable as addressed, return to sender. the label was clean and clear.

assembled it, and am even more impressed in person than I ever was in pictures!!!
 
Initial order was Sept 30. Got my second one today. For anyone that is holding off on buying one . "Just Do It" They are a great product and John has done a fantastic job of listening to what we would like, that no one else can seam to do. Then designing and fabricating them. These are a wonderful quality product and I highly recommend them to everyone.
I put a 6ft. cable on this one so I can set it anywhere I want?

Hey guys.

Thanks for being patient with the shipping mess I was having. Almost everyone should "Finally" have their dock by now. If not, I added a email you can actually reach me at on my "Contact Page".

I finally have everything sorted out, so the turn around will be much faster now. Thanks again guys, and I hope you are all enjoying the docks as much as I am making them ;-).
