save yourself the extra money and him the pain and go buy a can of spray paint and paint it.... It would be the same in the end. I am sure he is just buying bare metal and not colored metal. It would cost more to buy colored because it would be powder coated....

No. He's not using the adjustment screws now, which I think is better anyway. Last we heard it's going to be a solid piece of metal with a 10 degree angle. The latest design has not been posted.

I understand where you are coming from. But I am sure he is ordering in a small but bulk order to get a discount. While many vendors do offer different product colors they will be higher without a substantial order and a nominal fee can be costly. I have found that out the hard way. I wasn't trying to make a business decision for him. Just give some advise.

Look into getting it anodized locally. I used to work for a company that sent aluminum out regularly for this service. It shouldn't cost much at all. I remember I sent over an xacto knife once with some of the stuff to be anodized and it came back looking pretty sweet.
