Accessories Custom Made Incredible Dock

I know that there was a suggestion about anodizing in black (or other colors, I guess) as that would be the best way to do it. I know that would increase the cost, but I have no idea by how much. Black, with "Incredible" engraved and colored red would be pretty sweet. Yes, yes, I am asking for the world while looking the proverbial gift horse in the mouth. :D I am truly awestruck by this thread and this amazing entreprenurial success story. Major kudos!

I believe i saw that option on his website. Check it out, think there's the option to color it, custom engraving, and option to color the engraving. Someone correct me if i'm wrong
 
Anyone else having trouble with the "contact us" link on john's website? It's not working. I've tried direct email with John's papal "hotmail" email address but no reply. I placed my order 9/21,6:48 am and haven't heard from john. Not rushing. I know he's busy. I just wanted current status update and to make sure there's not a problem since I only received paypal's payment confirmation.

Ya that link does not work for me either. Probably just an over sight when he set up the site.
 
Thanks...I did see the color option on the order page. But I think that is for the color of the engraving, right? Maybe John can chime in when he's not filling orders!

Hmmm i thought there was 2 different options for colors... dunno:confused:
 
either I'm goofy, or there's something not right with the site.... I can't confirm the order. I know it says out of stock, but I get the point of adding to the cart, then selecting engraving, with color and text. However, that's as far as it goes- I cant confirm the order or pay for anything.

so, n2airz - if you're reading this, I want a dock w/ engraving in blue. Please PM me or email me (I reg'd on the site) and let me know what all you need. thanks!
 
i think you cant order since its out of stock....he mentioned something about not liking to take peoples money without having the product ready
 
Just curious, has anyone that ordered directly off his website gotten their dock?

I placed my order almost immediately after n2airz posted his website. I received two confirmation emails on that same day (Sept. 20, 2010), one of which stated that another confirmation email would be sent when the item ships.

The item has not yet shipped.

I am pretty much in the same boat, I placed my order right after he posted the website. From what I can tell from the order number, I was order number 7. I emailed him twice asking a question and no response.
 
I believe I'm order #9, but have not received a shipping notification either, but it has only been a week since the order was placed. I mean he still has to make it, package it and ship it. He is probably getting ready to ship out the first batch soon.
 
Okay I need to quit & go to bed. I surrender! Someone, anyone , tell me how delete a post. My incredible is getting out of hand! Keyboard is lagging & the dang cursor has a mind of its own!

Same thing here, ordered 1208am 9/21. Got my order # message and recieved my PayPal payment notice, and that I would be notified when it ships. That's the last I've heard! Said nothing about out of stock, Has not responded to any requests so far. Hope he is just busy, but really needs to have someone respond about the orders that he has taken payment for. Really like his product and am looking forward to getting it.

I ordered early a.m. 9/21 & received Paypal confirmation, but not one from john. I've sent a couple of emails but haven't gotten a response. I'm concerned that there was a glitch with the order since I didn't receive confirmation or backorder notification from John.

I'm sure that he is very busy making them. On 9/21 around 2:30 pm John posted that he had already sold the 50 in inventory. He said that he had just received a shipment of metal and planned to have more ready to ship by the weekend. So hopefully we'll get ours soon.

Same here but, I received this email from John this morning:

"Hey everyone...

I am sorry I haven't got a hold of you sooner, but my website was all screwed up.

I thought I had everything up and running, but I was wrong. The next day after I sold out on all the docks,
I logged in to start printing some shipping labels, but none of the orders where showing up in my Admin Panel.

I have been on the phone with my host and USPS for the last week trying to get everything straightened out.
Finally everything is up and running and I can see everybody's accounts and orders. I will be shipping them off
this morning.

I am really sorry about all of this, but rest assure your order will be on its way "TODAY".

Hey guys...

I little follow up to what apsawyer65 just posted.

Man last week was a nightmare. I went live with the site, woke up the next morning to everything out of stock. I thought saweeet... So I went in to the admin panel to start printing labels, but none of the orders where showing up, or the login details. So after a few choice words, I started makeing calls. Turns out my site was still operating in trial mode and everthing had to be migrated over to the production server.

It was a freaking nightmare, but everthing is up and running now. I was able to email everyone and let them know the situation finally.

All orders are going out today, Everyone should have been emailed a delivery confirmation email.

Be prepared, I will be replenishing the stock "TOMORROW". So keep your eye out.

Sorry about the train wreck everyone ;-).

Mine has shipped as well. Kinda disappointed though that I never heard back from him. After reading that he might be able to engrave the android logo, I would have liked to have that clarified by him and be able to change my order. Oh well... still looking forward to the dock though.

Sorry about that, I just found those emails, I didn't know they where going to my gmail account. I thought all emails where going to be directed to my paypal account.

Anyways, I don't think I am going to do any graphics, because they are a pain to engrave and get them consistently looking good. So I am going to stick with just engraving text.

No worries! Thanks for the reply though. I figured you might not be able to do it anyway; so no biggie. At least we know for sure that the android guy is not an option.
