Root Custom MTD

Just checked on Quick System Info... A2SD is still showing but its dwindled down from 498mb to 3.05mb. What can I do to remove it completely?

it always says some random stuff when theres nothing there. ignore it

mine says theres 89.23mb free when i aint even got a partition on my card lol
 
I am thinking of adding custom MTD soon cos I want to steal 20/30mb from the system so I want to know if I delete the following apps I list below wont effect rom performances:

Clicker_hi
CloudService
File Explorer
HTML Viewer
Pico Tts
Protips
Provision
Spareparts
Stk
Tts services
Voice Dialer
Voice Search
Vpn services

Tts file (language thing)

Ive deleted few more but I know they were safe to remove....
 
i havent removed those as most of them are so small its negligible
i dont know what clicker is

you can remove file explorer, protips, spareparts, cloud service definately without problems

I would be a bit worried about "provision"... Not knowing what it is.

But CM says this:

Provision.apk com.android.provision yes* Runs on first boot. Conflicts with google app "SetupWizard.apk". Okay to delete if loading the gapps zip.

Do you mean to here? Can zip them and upload attachment. Any file size restrictions though? I use 7-zip and native 7z format is much better compression ratio than zip, but doesn't look like 7z format's valid for site. Will give it a go when it get in from work and include md5s as well
 
Can someone just help me out, does there have to be an img file in the root of the SD card in order to fadtboot flash hboot? As I just booted into hboot, selected fastboot but it didn't show any fastboot flash or erase cache? Obviously I haven't put the img file on there yet, but I am just checking I'm going to do it right?
 
No, put the img file on your pc on the root of your c: drive. If you set up fastboot and your hboot is called hboot.img the command is

fastboot flash hboot c:\hboot.img
 
I finally bit the bullet and flashed custom MTD! Woo hooo! I have... 110mb system/ 325mb data/ 3mb caches! Happy days!

Nice!
Now remove that and use the standard Alpharev Oxygen r2 table:
100MB /system, 5MB /cache, 333MB /Data.

Lol I thought about adding Oxygen hboot but felt it was just a tad bit small in system size! MIUI latest built have grown in size esp with FM radio on board now so I cant seem to shrink the rom down any further then 98mb! So unless that changes I will stick with my new layout for time being...

The old versions before the FM radio came along could easily be whitted down to 90mb. Latest one has sooo many new files on it but I managed to get it just under 98mb but there isnt enough leeway....
