Root Cyanogen Mod 6 (Froyo) Released!!

shit... and now it's saying i need to activate my phone again... did I break my phone??? hahaha it can't even place the call to try and activate it :(

it does that half the time. don't worry. your call will eventually go through

i think you will be happy with RED/Blue rom... i have it and works really well.. also some can get jit running well with it :)
 
I am sticking with it.
I use the camera occasionally, but the most used app for me is mail. This gives me great Exchange sync so I am staying with it and regularly checking for updates.


I would like to have the wifi teather back but not a sticking issue for me.

Not me. I am am a HUGE Cyanogen fan from my MotoDroid days but this still has a ways to go. I played with it for a couple hours and then restored my back up.

But I know for a fact once the bugs are worked out Cyanogen will be damn near impossible to touch by the other ROMS designers. It will be the cream of the crop.

I am so far... I've had it since late last night. I haven't had any stability issues and it seems to be very fast. My only concerns are the obvious bugs that everyone's noticed (no camera, etc).

My biggest issue with it (as with most) is the fact that FB contacts don't sync (still haven't figured this out...) and some of the Market Apps aren't showing up.
 
okay I've gotten the activation thing fixed, I guess somehow I got put on 'home' and not 'automatic' so it had zero service.


been running this rom since lastnight and it is amazing!
 
is there an list of known bugs yet somewhere? trying to decide if i should run. would rather not sift through hundreds of posts (on xda).

So far Camera, Bluetooth and GPS. My internal storage does not get recognized as well. Wifi works but portable hotspot does not.
Still awesome.
 
The 0709 Build fixed SD Card, screen tearing, and contact crashing. Haven't tested GPS yet, camera and bluetooth still down, but I can live without those

man... once bluetooth is fixed, i'm all over this. i'll get busted by the fuz if i'm not on the ol' bluetooth in the car around here, so it's a must have.

keeping fingers crossed that BT is fixed soon!

I already bought Rom Manager to donate, but when bluetooeh, camera and mms work I'm buying Koush another beer.
