Yeah sorry that's been sorted, I set it to private because it's outdated v1.5, v1.7 has just come out, and I'm updating the exe with that, so you might wanna wait :)

dudeman, can i update directly to v1.7 via recovery coz i dont wanna lose anything when i update(p.s. i'm still using 2.2 right now)...btw, i tried to update to v1.6 but when i reboot it got stuck on the cyanogenmod screen, i did this 2 times but got no luck please help me dude coz i really wanna update to 2.3..:(

is there a way to ajust the auto screen rotate its very slow since installing 2.3, makes playing games like sky of glory impossible , was working great on 2.2, apart from that 2.3 works very well

Settings>Screen>untick Rotating Screen, i don't know if that's what you mean, also could it be that the accelerometer is just not working properly.

nah the screen does rotate there is just a massive delay, i think you might be right for the accelerometer , what ever that is lol, is the sensitivity adjustable? any game which uses tilt is un playable.

also are they/ you going to be updating the mod7 or did i miss read that in the forum .

and how the heck did you get so clever with mobile phones lol:D

That's the laggy accelerometer bug, the accelerometer is what tells the phone all about the tilt. That's fixed in CyanogenMod 7, yes it's out: http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus...-android-2-3-avaliable-gt540.html#post2270185

Then you've already got CM7, you just have an outdated version of it..

Yeah there were a few updates since then, SwiftDroid is up to v1.8 now which fixed alot of bugs including the sensor one. Update it from the thread again. Also, can we move this to the CM7 thread instead of this one, thanks :)
 
Hello im new to this i have followd the flash guide but all i get is the LG logo after installing the cyanogenmod.I have been waitng for maybe 15 mins nothing happens fastboot works so there shouldnt be any problems with the phone or so i hope :P.... i have already tried to install cyanogenmod 3 times but with the same result stuck on the bootscreen with the lg logo anyone who had the same problem and maybe knows how to fix it ??

I have installed cyanogen and the fast boot but there are 2 things are bugging me and i need your help.
1. Up volume key doesnt work in clockwork mod recovery and camera=select not call. Can i revert this?
2. I cant move apps to sd. I have enabled the setting and when i try it says
Failed to move Application.
Please tell me how to fix it in detail, as i am a noob. Much appreciated

BTW I am using the 2.2 cyanogen 6.1 rom

I recommend you to flash youre phone with CM7, this CM6 port as been abandoned and it's not longer manteined, so any fixes you might want or need, will never come.
 
Hi i updated my phone as soon as i got it home from the shop awsome upgrade but i now have one problem my phone was network locked i tried to flash it with carphone warehouse open kdz but kept getting unpack error so i flashed with europe with fastboot kdz all went ok, then i flashed with cyanogenmod 6.1 still all ok but the phone is still network locked, i have paid for a unlock for my network but when i Enter 2945#*540# and press send nothing happens can anybody help

Flash the 2.1 ROM again, unlock then flash back to CM :)
